Stand Up Paddle Board or Kayak and Extreme Zipline Adventure from Panajachel

Description
Mornings always have calm waters on Lake Atitlan, so we suggest a morning start for the kayak or stand up paddle segment. The fleet of SUP and kayaks are safe and stable, and you will be provided with professional instruction. The guides are patient and thoughtful and make this activity a great option for anyone. Zip lines can be scheduled for late morning or early afternoon. Enjoy lunch (optional, not included) at the Nature Reserve or bring a picnic along to extend the day. Two options for zip lines offer extreme or ultra-extreme. Safe and fun for all ages!!!

OVERPRICED! 2 hr kayak ride then the zipline. I would say skip the kayak and go directly to the zipline which is open to the public. These guys are just reselling tickets to the zipline after their markup. The kayak trip was 2 hrs upwind in choppy water. You better be in good shape and with some serious endurance to do that. They don't tell you that and don't tell you that you need to get to their place by public boat. Pretty shoddy operation with poor oversight. The guy running the outfit just delegates to the staff which aren't really invested. My advice is steer clear of this guy's place.
We take your comments to heart, and we will use them to improve our service for the future.
Beautiful way to spend the day in this pristine area. Our guide picked us up at our hotel and took us to the boat dock for a ride to the kayak center. Really cool views from out on Lake Atitlan! Next we went to the nature reserve for the zip lining. The staff there was very thorough and safety conscious but I have to say were completely lacking in enthusiasm and seemed more like distracted carnival ride operators. That said, the zip line experience itself was AWESOME! Not super long runs but the views and vistas from high above the lake and through the treetops was unreal! Definitely recommend this tour!
Thank you so much for your detailed feedback! We’re really glad you enjoyed the day, especially the kayaking views and the ziplining experience—those views over Lake Atitlán are truly unforgettable! We also appreciate your honest comments about the staff at the reserve. Your feedback is very helpful and we’ll be sure to share it with them as we always aim to improve the overall experience. Thanks again for the recommendation, and we hope to have you back for another adventure soon!
Mario is super friendly and helpful! He's kind and patient and very knowledgeable. He was great at teaching us kayaking and he made sure we had a great lunch experience as well. Ziplining was amazing as well! The gentlemen at the eco park were kind enough to film the ziplines for us as well 😊
The experience was awesome. Our guide Mario was an angel, very smiling and allowed us to have the best experience. The view of the lake from the kayak and then from the zip line is a complement that is worth the detour. It was wonderful.
Alex was our guide. He spoke excellent English and was very easy to chat with. He picked us up at our hotel and took us into Panajachel to catch a water taxi across the lake to the kayaks. From there we proceeded to kayak for about 3 miles with a stop about half way at a cove that allowed for some casual swimming. Be sure to fully cover with sun screen! My shins got a little sunburned from sitting in the kayaks. After kayaking, we beached a little west of hotel Atitlan and walk a trail through the Atitlan Nature preserve to the zip lining location. Here Alex turned us over to the zip lining company. While we waited for our time slot there is a cafe with a small selection of food, a butterfly exhibit and plenty of nature trails. Of note, you have to hike up the nature trails to get to the ziplines so if you venture too far you may find yourself re-hiking the same trails. There are trail maps in the main zipline facility showing the layout of the line and the trails. Excellent day of activities and well worth the experience!
We began on the kayaks with Mario and that was the best thing that would happen to us. He was the best tour guide we could've have. Kayaking in lake Atiltan is one of the best experiences I've ever had. The inner peace you feel is unexplainable. After that we went on the ziplines with Don Beto and Paola. They were really professional and made the experience better for all of us. The view and the adrenaline are one of the best in Panajachel.
