Split Game of Thrones Tour & History Walk Top-Rated All inclusive

Description
Join us for a walk through history as we explore the center of Split, a 1700year-old city and ancient Roman city-palace protected by UNESCO. We will stroll not only through the old town, the Palace and its cellars but also through 2000 years of history filled with both educational and amusing, as well as bizarre situations. Meereen, the place where Daenerys spent three seasons, where scenes of the fight between slaves and masters (the "kill the masters" scene) were filmed, battles of Grey Worm and the Unsullied against the Sons of the Harpy, the death of Ser Barristan Selmy who saved Grey Worm, the dragons that Daenerys chained and later fed to the evil masters. Who was Emperor Diocletian, the greatest persecutor of Christians, and why did he vomit after dinner? How much did the Venetians pay for Split? Why does a headless Sphinx guard the entrance to Jupiter’s temple? We will show you what we eat and where to find the best food and local wine - Dalmatian specialties!

Itinerary
The main entrance to Diocletian's Palace with beautiful niches once adorned with statues of Roman emperors and inside with a built-in mechanism of double doors known as the "human mousetrap."
The main square of the palace, the site where Diocletian's mausoleum is located—today the Cathedral of St. Domnius—as well as a 3,500-year-old sphinx that poses a riddle.
Here we will watch a video of the Unsullied battling the Sons of the Harpy, and an a cappella group will sing Dalmatian songs live for us.
Once the temple of the main Roman god Jupiter, now the baptistery of St. John, at its entrance, guards a 3500-year-old headless sphinx.
In the dark dungeons, Daenerys Targaryen kept her dragons chained, their control slipping away. It was there that slaves hid while plotting their rebellion to break free from their masters' oppression.
GAME OF THRONES Museum Split will give fans around the world an opportunity to step inside Meereen and world of GOT. Inspired by and filled with the breathtaking images and enthralling artifacts from the hit HBO series GAME OF THRONES, this Museum will drop fans into the center of the Seven Kingdoms for an up-close and personal look at authentic props, costumes, real size figures, weapons, city dioramas, set and more...
Take a free photo on the Iron Throne as a part of a tour and get yourself an original souvenir from a trip to Essos, Meereen - Split.
Meereen is no longer a safe place for slave masters; dangerous messages in blood are appearing on the walls, and here a master will encounter the wrath of the rebellious slaves.
We conclude the tour by the sea, where you will receive instructions on what to see for the remainder of your journey in Split and Dalmatia, where to eat, which beach to visit, how to spend quality time affordably.

We loved the tour and the guide managed that we skip the entry line. Stayed in the shade the entire time and saw the filming locations.

We had a fantastic experience on the Game of Thrones tour in Split! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared so many interesting and pertinent details about the filming locations and the history behind them. It made the tour both informative and enjoyable. We also really appreciated that they sent us pictures and videos from the tour afterward—a wonderful extra touch and a great way to remember the experience. Highly recommend this tour to any Game of Thrones fan visiting Split!
The tour was amazing!! Our guide was Marin and he was clearly into GoT and also he knew a lot about Split since he was born and raised there. He told us about the important filming locations and also the history of the Diocletian’s Palace. We learnt a lot about Croatia, its “fjaka” state of mind and its customs as well. Overall, a great experience.
