Our tour guide, Cesar, was fun and gave our group of about 13, good times. The group was a good mix and a pleasure to spend the day with. The breakfast and lunch were in delightful eateries. More time in the town of Guatape could have been more enjoyable...it felt a bit rushed. El Penol and the boat trip was a wonderful experience. The transportation was safe and smooth.
I would not recommend going on this trip with Capture Colombia. The "tour guide" barely gave us any information and just gave us two times of one hour "to go explore ourselves". It was basically just a paid transport with food included. Minimal info was given. He tried to be friendly and help but once the tour was over, it was radio silence even though I lost something he told me he would check and get back to me. Go with another company or just take public transport yourself.
Signed up late at night the day before the tour, got sick during the night, told them before the tour. Money gone, they do not offer anything in terms of doing the tour another day, partal refund or something. Just bad customer service.
Was an amazing tour! really interesting spots very beautiful and full of culture. Orion our tour guide was very good, energetic and knowledgeable. The boat part of the tour was stunning and we had a lovely meal by the pool to finish off! I would recommend to anybody who wants to visit Guatape and Medellín!

Really cool tour. Views are fantastic and the town of Guadapé is very cute. Cool to see some of Pablo E’s mansions en route to pool/lunch after the climb and stroll around town.
We did the Tour of Guatapé with Orion! Our Tour Guide was super cool, making our day very enjoyable! In the morning we went to the Rock of Guatapé, and then to the town. A lovely place. Very nice. To eat we were taken to the Guatapé Reservoir, where we passed Pablo Escobar's house that was bombed. The food place had beautiful views and for after lunch we relaxed in the pool and jacuzzi of the restaurant. We met a lot of people from many countries. A super recommended experience! I would repeat without a doubt!
Small group, small scale eateries with really good food. Slightly more expensive than perhaps other providers, but that is more than worth it because of the exclusivity. Instead of eating at a roadside restaurant, you eat at a small farm and a very nice hostel with pool to be able to chill out.
Did a tour with capture Columbia that was led by tour guide Orion. He was fantastic throughout the whole day and made the experience as good as it could get. Can’t recommend the company and him enough.
