Treat your taste buds to a cultural feast in downtown Savannah. Eating your way through the city gives you a unique way to become acquainted with the city layout and history. This Savannah food tour encompasses all of the city’s most mouthwatering bites and fascinating bits of history. We offer plenty of time to order and pay for cocktails and spirits along the way. We try very hard to accommodate guests with dietary issues, and especially food allergies but please remember, some restaurants have limited items available. Tours are 3-hour tasting and walking tours where you will enjoy an exciting food tasting experience while walking through the squares and historic district of the Hostess City of the South. Tours are suitable for all ages. *Alcoholic beverages are not included in the ticket price.

Our team has been doing guided walking tours of Historic downtown Savannah for over 20 years. After many years previously spent in Savannah's culinary scene, it made sense to combine the two. Savannah's foodie seen has really taken off and we wanted to showcase our own spin of Southern Flavors. While strolling through the city squares and Historic District of Downtown. This is how Southern Flavors of Savannah was born.
Our WALKING tours cover the areas between Broughton Street and River Street. Our goal is to give you a small taste of some of your new Savannah favorites. We have a diverse food culture that spotlights more than just our southern cuisine. Our tour includes flavors from around the world offered by a plethora of restaurants available here in our Hostess city. You will have a full day of flavors as you indulge in 6 different locations to give you a taste of our favorite foods in town. We will show off some local gems that shine in that southern sun. In around 3 hours, you will have a whole new idea of Southern flavors and Savannah charm. As you walk, you will learn about Savannah’s long and fascinating history as Georgia’s hostess city of the South. From the first wooden ships to cross the Atlantic Ocean, to the city’s secret history, we will talk all things Savannah. Due to the number of restaurants Savannah has to offer, our stops are often rotated.
Food tours are conducted at a leisurely pace, please be advised that we tour rain or shine.

Tour guide Christina wasn’t easy to find, as she should have dressed better and worn a name tag or something to differentiate her from everyone else in the park! She spoke very fast when she did speak, which wasn’t very much. She acted like she wanted to be anywhere but there. The food was mediocre and drinks are not included, even though it’s advertised as a pub crawl. Most pub crawls have drink samples included. Cristina didn’t tell us much of anything. Very disappointing!
We had aa amazing time! This was our first time in the Savannah area and it was a fun way to see the historic district. Christine was awesome! She has a great sense of humor and is very knowledgeable about the area. Don’t come looking for huge portions, but do expect great food and great people!

We really enjoyed our trip and our fantastic guide Christina! She had great information to share, clearly knew the people and places well we felt like we had insider access with her leading the tour. Got in a great walk, saw, so many places, ate and drank delicious offerings and learned a little something about Savannah. Can definitely recommend this tour.
This was a great experience to get to know a bit about Savannah. Christina is a plethora of local knowledge, and a heck of a lot of fun. You will get to taste some great food and walk it off in the process, so it’s diet friendly! Would do again and will next time I come to Savannah!
Cristina was a wonderful guide. Knowledgeable and funny. Loved seeing all the restaurants. We did tell someone on the phone ahead of time that we had a food allergy but it seemed to be a surprise at every stop :(
Loved this tour!! Christina is an excellent tour guide!! She gives great history of Savannah, but also keeps it funny and light. She is born and raised in Savannah and it’s evident that she loves the city and her job!! The food was very good at each location. We took the tour in the dog days of summer and it was just fine. Don’t let a little heat and humidity stop you…there are plenty of stops along the way and Savannah loves to-go cups! 🤭 So glad we tried this!
