Our trip to Conwy, Chester and Snowdonia was very enjoyable, our driver Steve was knowledgeable and jolly. The stops were just about long enough and we were helped by very fine weather. Recommended.
Clive was our guide, and he was great. A fair amount of driving, but that is to be expected. Rabbies is the tour company, and I’d recommend. The group sizes are not too large.
Our guide was Steve and he was very knowledgeable and his discussion was very informative. It was a full day but the amount of time in the van was at a minimum. We felt we saw the important sites in North Wales on this tour. We would recommend it.
Well worth the time. We had a great guide who was a wealth of knowledge. Took the time to explain the history of what we were seeing without overloading us with information.
Oh my God! Our tour guide, Allen, was the best guide we’ve ever had, compared to all the other tours we’ve been on. His knowledge, personality, kindness, and passion made the experience truly unforgettable. My mom and I enjoyed every moment. A huge thank you to him!
It was relaxed and good trip yet it, also good. To hot to do(for me personally) any exploration along the sites. The driver and guide Steven. Was cool, easy to talk to, could tell some good stories about the area. Note for those who haven't a sense of direction like me don't trust google maps. Plot Motel one or take the adress from the description.
Nice day of site seeing, the National Park and Lake are a bite underwhelming but Conwy and Chester are fantastic cities.
This was a day fully packed with the best scenary, history an exceptional villages, making you long for a bygone era.
Our Rabbie's tour from Manchester to North Wales, Snowdonia National Park, Conwy, and Chester was one of the highlights of our trip and perhaps the best guided tour we have ever taken! It was a full day, but it never felt overwhelming thanks to our fantastic guide, Darrin. Darrin was friendly, engaging, incredibly knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. His commentary struck the perfect balance between interesting historical and local information and well-timed jokes that kept everyone entertained. He did an excellent job of breaking up the longer drives by playing music, sharing helpful visuals, and giving us plenty of fascinating stories, so there was never a dull moment. Every stop was spectacular. Conwy, Snowdonia, and Chester each had something unique to offer, and it's honestly impossible to choose a favorite. Darrin also made the logistics effortless—he always pointed out the nearest restrooms, recommended food options at each stop, and kept the group moving at just the right pace so we could make the most of every destination. The tour was the perfect length. Even though it was a long day, it was thoughtfully paced and never felt rushed. Darrin was also an excellent driver, and we felt safe and comfortable throughout the journey. If you're looking for a day trip from Manchester that combines beautiful scenery, charming towns, and an outstanding guide, I highly recommend this Rabbie's tour. Darrin made an already great itinerary into an unforgettable experience.
