With the choice of three daily departures from Cairns, this Green Island cruise is perfect for visitors with limited time, offering a half or full day experience (up to 7 hours). You will have the choice of a glass bottom boat coral viewing tour or snorkelling equipment. Green Island is a beautiful 6000 year old coral cay. It's the only coral cay on the Great Barrier Reef with a rainforest! Beautiful island and opportunity to see turtles and other marine life snorkeling in the crystal clear waters.
Excellent service great fun and lots of things to do would recommend to everyone. Easy to book very affordable the staff were fantastic have booked more experiences with them.

Staff at ferry terminal and on the vessel were very friendly and helpful however the experience itself was disappointing and not worth the money. I wish I paid the extra for a day trip to the barrier reef and not to green island. Snorkelling equipment poor and no coral to be seen! Told its only "sea grass". Green Island run down and in need of serious refurbishment

While we visited on a wet windy day, we were still able to enjoy our glass bottom boat trip and island walks.

It was a lousy day weather wise but we still had a great time. Lovely to walk around the island and the glass bottom boat did not disappoint......I have wanted to do this since I was a child. We did not visit the crocodile exhibit as we felt the cost was extreme.

This was a self guided tour. You got a ride to green island and self guided snorkeling. The tour included the trip to and from the island and snorkeling gear.

Appalling miscommunication of boat's arrival back into Cairns caused us to pull out of trip. Refund process is dismissive

For example, one of the option states: 8:30am–4:30pm: Return cruise and snorkelling gear or glass bottom boat. Departs Cairns at 8:30am, returns 4:30pm (arrival into Cairns approximately 5:15pm). We encourage all guests to review the details of their chosen option to ensure it aligns with their travel requirements. We also offer a 24-hour free cancellation policy, and any refund/cancellation requests received outside this timeframe are reviewed carefully in accordance with our cancellation terms. This was a nice experience, not outstanding. It is very family-friendly, low key, with a range of available activities. The glass-bottom boat ride was about 15 minutes and there wasn't a lot to see in the green, mostly murky water (we also had poor weather). Technically, I was able to snorkel in The Heat Barrier Reef, but only in very shallow, restricted waters near Green Island. There were some colorful tropical fish and one awesome sea turtle, but not much in the way of the beautiful bright coral associated with the reef.
