Discover the magic of Ilhéu de Villa Franca do Campo from a completely different perspective – underwater! After a briefing and delivery of all necessary equipment. Dressed in neoprene, mask and spikes, embark towards the island while the Guide shares safety information and curiosities about this iconic natural monument of the Azores. The snorkeling activity takes place in the waters surrounding the island (in its outer area), where you can explore crystal clear waters, volcanic rock formations and an incredible diversity of marine life, including colorful fish, sea stars, crabs, mores and ducks. The activity does not take place within the natural Reservation of the island, but in its surroundings. For an even more exciting experience, you can choose to rent a SeaScooter. At the end, enjoy a small boat ride around the island before returning to the marina, an unforgettable experience that combines sea, nature and discovery.

Our guide was wonderful, the island is worth it, diving outside was what I saw, inside it was nothing to write home about.
Very nice!! They take you to the islet and you dive around it. There is a lot of diversity of fish... our guide Manuel explained and taught us the names of the fish and Dominique, who was driving the boat, was very kind... after diving they take you on a small tour among the rocks... it is very fun and beautiful... 100% recommended.

Great snorkeling experience. The guide was super friendly! There was a short briefing, then we set off with the speedboat. We were then allowed to snorkel around the small island and marvel at the diversity of the underwater world there. A great tour!
We went on the snorkel Tour on August 4th 2026. Or tour was from 4:00-5:00 pm. Marta and Dominique were our guides and they were the best guides we could have asked for. They took us to all the great spots, they made sure we were taken care of and on top of that Marta made sure that she stayed with our kids. We had a 10 year old and a 12 year old with us who were a little bit hesitant being in the water but she made them feel extra comfortable and she stayed with them the entire time and they absolutely loved it!! Thank you for a great experience!! Would Highly recommend this tour!!
The snorkeling tour was perfectly arranged. Enthusiastic team. Lots of fishing seen and a spectacular route around the island. Really recommended to go out with them!
Unique and amazing experience. We loved our guide Manuel and our skipper Imanuel. Very knowledgable, we felt safe. We were able to see a variety of fish. We will def come back and do it again!

It was a brilliant trip Manuel was a very good guide as he knows so much about marine life We saw so many beautiful fish He was helpful and friendly and dived down to take footage of an octopus with our camera The skipper was great as he toured around the island afterwards would 100% recommend
