Itinerary
We start at the meeting point of Potsdamer Platz to reach Nordbahnhof by S-Bahn, one of the ghost stations that remained closed for nearly thirty years after the Wall's construction.
At the Berlin Wall Memorial on Bernauerstrasse, we'll relive the trauma of separation, visiting an original part of the death strip, the no man's land. We'll discuss escape attempts, tunnels dug for this purpose, and the terrible stories of those who lost their lives because of the Wall.
On the famous Alexanderplatz, in front of representative buildings of socialist Berlin, we'll relive the emotions of the thousands who, through peaceful demonstrations, defied STASI's political repression, triggering the "collapse" of the Wall and the subsequent disintegration of the Soviet bloc.
We conclude our visit with the most famous and colorful piece of the Berlin Wall: the East Side Gallery and its 104 murals, including the now-famous kiss between Brezhnev and Honecker.

Very interesting and educational. One clearly understands the creation of East Germany and how it functioned.
Two perfect guides from start to finish: Martin and Jean-Charles.
Very informative tour with Arthur, an extremely pleasant guide who is very knowledgeable on the subject. Arthur managed to capture our attention throughout the tour, with information allowing us to gauge that history is not simplistic and that nuances are essential. With a great quality of presentation, Arthur also knew how to convey emotions very worthily. A visit that we recommend, both for its organization and for this memorable moment with Arthur. A Big Thank You!!
Fascinating visit, very competent guide, who was able to answer all the questions and gave vivid and interesting examples.
Jean Charles is passionate and fascinating. Thanks to him, we spent 3 hours rich in information and anecdotes, I recommend this tour without hesitation. Joëlle on 07/29/2026
Perfect in every way....Essential for deciphering the symbolic language of what remains of the past. Guides who are in love with their city and share their attachment with us.
We will have learned much more than in any history book, thank you Catherine for having shared the history and a part of your own history as you would have passed it on to your granddaughter (my 9-year-old daughter was part of the group). What an incredible wealth of memory and what accessibility! Once again a big thank you, we felt so lucky to share that with you and what a gift you offered my daughter to discover this whole part of history in this way. Caroline, Jacqueline, and Lola
Very interesting tour, it was clear that the guide Martin was truly passionate. We had a really great time!
Very interesting! Very lively tour with an exciting guide.
Our guide Mathieu Verpeaut, a native of Burgundy, accompanied us for 3 hours. I highly recommend this guide who is passionate about history. He knew how to make us share this very special moment in history. Thanks to him.
