5 Star..

I initially booked this tour for the wrong date...was allowed to change without penalty which was fantastic. We were met at the alloted time and taken by our guide Raffiel who was superb..there was 7 of us 4 Spanish as first language and us who only speak English...Raffa fluctuated between the two tongues seamlessly....and showed fantastic knowledge and History on all aspects of the tour..and had fantastic comical timing....indeed we all laughed..!! In summary do not hesitate to take a tour with this company....can't really extol their virtues any higher...!!

Excellent Tour of Teotihuacan and Shrine of Guadalupe

This tour provided a great way to see the Teotihuacan Pyramids and Shrine of Guadalupe from Mexico City. The total tour time was about 9 hours, which included about 3 1/2 hours drive time, 2 hours sightseeing at the pyramids, 1 hour at the Shrine of Guadalupe, 1 hour at a crafts centre, and 1 1/2 hours at a restaurant for lunch near the pyramids. The pyramids area is amazing and a must see when visiting Mexico City. I have seen a number of other pyramids in Central America, but none compares to the pyramids at Teotihuacan. There are 2 large pyramids (Sun, Moon), for which you can climb the (steep) steps of one pyramid to the half way point. As well, there are many, many other small pyramids at the site. The Shrine of Guadalupe was also great to see, including the large (new) church which has masses running every hour throughout the day for up to 11,000 people. The included lunch at the restaurant was very good (menu has a wide selection) and there is a range of entertainment throughout the lunch. The tour guide was very informative and did a good job leading the group throughout all of the sites. The craft centre was also interesting, as they give a demo of the various parts of the cactus which are used to make a range of products, and time is also provided to do some shopping for locally made products.

Lovely!

Our tour guide Raphael and driver Manuel were wonderful. I enjoyed his pace and all the knowledge he shared during our tour. The transport was a new Mercedes van and was very comfortable.

Good guide and tour

Well informed and pleasant guide. Very little wasted time. The van should have been cleaner and all seats should have working seatbelts. The guide got along with all ages and personalities

The final part of the tour: going to the restaurant was not pleasant.

It was a pleasant walk to see the pyramids, pass through the church, visit a store on the way. At the end of the tour, they took us to an expensive self-service restaurant, with loud music and varied Mexican food. I don't like much Mexican food. My son wanted a pasta to eat, but he didn't. I asked the guide if we could go to another restaurant, but he said he would take us, but the tour in that restaurant would be closed and would not take us to the hotel. Result: Me and my daughter ate the horrible Mexican food and my son left without eating. It's unpleasant. I didn't like it. They should take us straight to the hotel and then we'd have lunch wherever we wanted. People should be informed about this issue from the restaurant.

Cumprimentos, Kim Alva Interliv Travel
