The winery’s were excellent. I have gone through a lot of wineries and these would rate as some pf the top. Excellent tour guide who was very knowledgeable.
One of the best parts of our trip! Our guide/driver was very knowledgeable about wine and the area, but didn’t overwhelm us with information. The selection of wineries was perfect and lunch during the day at the 2nd winery was OUTSTANDING. Very personalized and intimate experience, I would recommend this tour to anyone.
We had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Everything was well organized and the pace of the day was great. Mattia was an excellent guide — knowledgeable, enthusiastic and genuinely enhanced the entire experience. Even as a group tour, it never felt rushed or impersonal. There was a great balance between learning about the area, seeing the sights and simply enjoying the day. We saw and experienced far more than we would have on our own. A really enjoyable day and one of the highlights of our trip. Would highly recommend, and a big thank you to Mattia!
Generous portions of wine. Very informative. Lunch at the vintner’s home was a highlight. Tour guide knowledgeable.
We had a wonderful day exploring the area of Montalcino with Keko. He is incredibly knowledgeable and personable. Each winery was a unique experience and really told the story of the area. The lunch was incredible, the owners were so warm and embracing. We highly recommend this experience! Keko is the best.
We had a wonderful time exploring 3 different vineyards in Montalcino, where we were warmly welcomed at each. Marco, our tour guide was knowledgeable and so much fun! By the end of the day I felt like he was our friend. We enjoyed a lovely lunch at the second vineyard, Cava D’Onice with the wine maker Simone in his home, made by his wife (The Big Boss as Simone calls her!) Marco took time to take us to an 11th century Abbey to explore, which was stunning! I highly recommend this tour, with any luck you’ll have Marco as your guide!
A very enjoyable trip! The wine tastings at 3 wineries were well chosen being informative and fun. The group size was good. Lunch was absolutely amazing - wine, food, location and company! A perfect day.
Paolo was amazing! He explains and shows you around in detail! Will 100% do this again! He makes it very intimate and very interesting for everyone. Will do this again specifically for him!
Amazing small group winery tour. Absolutely loved meeting the small winery owners/workers. Such a cool experience to get a behind the scenes look in an intimate environment. The olive oil from Cava d’Onice was the best we’ve ever had and their lunch room was incredible!
The tour was simply amazing!!! Kiko was simply phenomenal!!! He was an encyclopedia of wine making process as well as the region. You can tell he was a local resident of the region. His passion and love for the region was evident the entire tour. The tour of the wineries were beyond expectation, it was awesome to see the 3 different family run businesses instead of the large corporate wineries. Lunch was out of this world with a true Italian home made meal in the home of Stefano and Lucia, who were also gracious hosts!!! The whole tour was a priceless experience!!!!
