Everything went very smoothly. Was a bit concerned that I could not access my tickets right away but I received an email the night before that contained them. The audio track for the museum was easy to follow and enjoyable with good information.
Loved the experience, but lots of stairs. Audio gave excellent information but wished addtl said about where other paintings might be seen (Starry Starry Night).
Absolutely worth visiting. Seeing Van Gogh's original paintings up close is a completely different experience than seeing them in books or online. The museum is beautifully organized and gives a real insight into his life and artistic journey. A highlight of my trip to Amsterdam!
Don't ever book! We booked four tickets at an inflated price (that was ok as we really wanted to go) was taken to Viator site. Only one ticket arrived could not get into the museum as four QR codes were required contacted Trip advisor who insisted that one ticket was enough even though the admission people were saying no to the operator on the phone call. I will be pursuing a refund in spite of being sent an email saying no refund possible. We missed out on the Van Gogh museum as a result. One star is too much. So very disappointed.
We had trouble accessing our tickets since it was a day before purchase. The people at the museum were very helpful and we got our tickets. The audio guide is excellent, we learned so much through it. We stayed over 5 hours which included a nice break for tea and cake at the cafe.
Tixs were easy to access and got us right in! There was a long line that we did not have to deal with and the museum did end up selling out. One of my new favorite museums!
We booked the tickets and audio tour and our confirmation said they would email the tickets to us the day before the date but never did. I was emailing Viator the night before at 8 PM looking for them. Ticket people said I had booked last minute and not to go to the meeting spot! It was booked a month in advance What meeting spot? They were just supposed to send me my tickets which they finally did. at midnight. Museum is very informative
The Van Gogh Museum was one of the highlights of Amsterdam. The artwork was incredible and it was fascinating to learn more about Van Gogh’s life. Everything was well organized and this was definitely worth the visit!
Loved this museum. It was really interesting to learn more about Van Gogh’s life and see his paintings up close.
A truly memorable experience from start to finish. We received the tickets via email and went right through without lines or delays. The audio guide is very well put together. Informative without being overbearing.
