A unique tour at Villa Borghese in Rome The meeting place is in Piazza Scipione Borghese, at the Venus fountain. First point of interest of the Tour, we will take the material for drawing and for the first lesson. Second point of interest of the Tour: "Aviary of the secret gardens", immediately followed by "La Meridiana" Third point of interest of the Tour: The Sea Horse Fountain, here we will stop to draw and color the wonderful fountain with the four sea horses Fourth point of interest: Piazza di Siena. Here you can stop to draw the many subjects available, Raphael's house, the clock house, the fountain of the three puppets or even just the beautiful pine trees of Rome. Fifth point of interest is the temple of Diana, surrounded by stone seats where you can comfortably sit and draw. The garden of the lake offers us as subjects, the temple of Aesculapius, in the center of the lake and La Fonte Gaia, or of the satyrs, a beautiful fountain from the Art Nouveau period.

If you’re looking to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the crowds, learn a little bit about sketching, and have the company of a local guide (who loves his dogs) - this is your activity! It was so relaxing. You don’t have to be experienced at drawing. Guido was kind and gave great tips. We are so happy we did this!❤️

Our art lesson with Guido in Rome was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. He was incredibly patient, kind, and encouraging, even for beginners with little sketching experience. He made the class feel relaxed and fun instead of intimidating. We loved sitting in the beautiful gardens sketching the fountains and architecture while learning different techniques. Guido gave each of us personal attention and helped us create artwork we were genuinely proud of. It felt less like a class and more like sharing art with a friend who truly loves Rome and creativity. This experience gave us such a special memory to take home from Italy. Guido is a personable Art Instructor, with a variety of techniques to help you improve your artwork. I was the only student that day, and he was flexible about satisfying my requests. He tells amusing stories, and in-between sketching, we laughed about the multitude of dog’s antics in the park. It was both a relaxing, and productive time, spent on my vacation! 🎨
