Itinerary
Visit to the Pena Palace terraces and Park, one of the best representations of 19th century Romanticism in Europe. Being the second-highest point in the Serra de Sintra (over 500m above sea level), it will amaze you with its unique architecture and spectacular views. King Ferdinand II - the king-artist - fell in love with Sintra, and following the purchase of the property, decided to build a unique castle and park, with 500 plant species from all corners of the world. The palace incorporates Manueline and Moorish architectural influences, that together will give you an atmosphere of “a thousand and one nights.”. An unforgettable experience (see ticket options - terraces and viewpoints or interior rooms).
In the center of Sintra you can either stay in the village, view the National Palace or walk to visit Regaleira (tickets not included). Also, a great option is to stay, and enjoy the wonders of this beautiful medieval little town, walking the narrow streets, feel the local atmosphere and then grab a coffee and try local pastry "Travesseiro".
Regaleira is a 19th century Villa, known as Palácio da Regaleira. Located in the center of Sintra, it was bought by a Portuguese businessman who was fascinated by secret orders such as Freemasonry and the Templars. Regaleira was transformed into a palace surrounded by gardens, lakes, caves and enigmatic constructions, symbolic places, typical of secret societies and rituals. A unique monument influenced by Romantic, Neo-Gothic and Manueline architecture. To visit Quinta da Regaleira, please book as it gets sold out in advance. Book 11h30 slot, on the official shop: regaleira by blueticket . In case you cannot book, visit will not be possible, but you can still pass-by and see the exterior.
Sintra National Palace is one of the most important royal palaces from the 12th century, built by the moors initially, and later further developed and expanded during different monarchs' reign. This was one of the most important political centers, during the discoveries of the 15th and 16th centuries. It has the most relevant moorish ceramic tiles collection in Portugal.
We will stop at Cabo Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe. After your Sintra's visit, you will stop here to take pictures, get a bit of fresh air, and relax.
Cascais will amaze you, with its mix of a little fishing village, together with the sophistication of a place where kings and queens would spend part of their summer. Time to relax and enjoy the views
A quick view of Estoril, where kings were living and spies would come to meet during World War II. Fancy James Bond? You will know a bit of history also.

What a lovely experience. Our guide was full of fun facts and history with each stop. Great views and conversations. Highlight of our trip to Lisbon.
We have just finished our tour and we’re extremely happy with the experience! Pedro is very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and professional. He provided us with tons of info, showed us all the must-see stops and made sure all our questions were answered and needs met. Ask for him when you book the tour. Experiencing the places with a local is a must-do. Thank you Pedro!

Small group Knowledgeable guide Good driver
Édi Cruz was our guide, and he is genuinely one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had. He was so personable with everyone on the trip and incredibly kind. It also helped that our group was great to spend the day with. Édi is VERY knowledgeable about all things Lisbon — culture, history, art, everything. If you have a question, he’ll give you a detailed and engaging answer. Throughout the day, he accommodated everyone’s schedules and preferences, making sure each person felt comfortable. He shared tips on the best photo spots, food recommendations, and other sites to visit (I really appreciated this — it let me just enjoy the experience). He was flexible, attentive, and just fantastic overall. Even after the tour ended, he continued helping us find things we needed. If possible, I would absolutely request Édi Cruz again. The sites themselves were stunning — I absolutely loved them. Definitely worth seeing.
The tour was AMAZING and our guide, Édi, was AWESOME! This tour was a great way to see all the highlights in one day. Having Édi as a guide made it extra special. He was so knowledgeable about things, he was like a walking Google. Book the tour and request Édi if you can.
We had the most enjoyable day ever - a great tour, with in a nice van, meeting other people, although still a small group of 8 (great to avoid bus tours with long crowds). Our guide took us to Pena terraces (avoiding lines inside which is great) and then Sintra, Roca and cascais. We loved it - definitely recommend for a couple like us. We will come back!
This was the perfect way to see and do so many highlights outside of Lisbon without the hassle of logistics getting to and from each place. Edi was the most amazing tour guide, so knowledgeable, patient and flexible with us, also a really amazing driver. I am so happy I chose this tour and would do it again 100 times out of 100
Wonderful Sintra, Cascais & Pena Palace Tour We had an absolutely wonderful day exploring **Pena Palace, Sintra, and Cascais** with our tour guide, David David picked us up in a beautiful, comfortable Mercedes van, and with just three other tourists in our group, the tour felt very relaxed and personal. From beginning to end, David was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and made the entire day so enjoyable. The sights were absolutely breathtaking, and we loved seeing the beauty and history of **Pena Palace and Sintra**, followed by the gorgeous coastal scenery of **Cascais*. David did a fantastic job making sure we saw the highlights while also giving us interesting information about each place we visited It was the perfect way to experience this beautiful part of Portugal without having to worry about driving, parking, or navigating. We truly enjoyed every minute of the day We highly recommend this tour—and especially with David. If you’re visiting Lisbon and want to experience Sintra, Pena Palace, and Cascais, this is a wonderful way to do it. . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
