Discover Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais on a full-day tour combining palaces, history, coastal views, and seaside charm. Start in Sintra’s historic center, with free time to explore and taste local pastries such as Travesseiro or Queijada. Continue to Pena Palace for a guided visit through one of Portugal’s most iconic monuments. Lunch will be at a local restaurant and is not included. In the afternoon, visit Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe, and end the day in Cascais, a charming seaside town with ocean views. Small Group Option: up to 8 guests, meeting point at Hard Rock Cafe Lisbon. Includes Pena Palace ticket only. Private Tour Option: exclusive and personalized, with hotel pick-up/drop-off in Lisbon, includes Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira tickets. (Regaleira is visited only on the Private Tour.) Included tickets depend on the option selected and are subject to availability and scheduled entrance times. The itinerary may be adjusted if needed.

Enjoy a scenic drive through the romantic Sintra Mountains, with a quick stop to breathe the fresh mountain air and admire the lush landscapes, forested hills, and natural viewpoints that make this region so unique. This is a short sightseeing stop designed for photos, views, and a better sense of Sintra’s magical natural setting.
Visit the iconic Pena Palace with the Pena Palace Essential Ticket included. Your local guide will accompany you through the palace park, gardens, and terraces, sharing historical context, local insights, and the best viewpoints for photos. The interior of the palace is visited on a self-guided basis, allowing guests to explore the royal rooms at their own pace. This stop combines guided outdoor interpretation with free time inside one of Sintra’s most famous landmarks.
Explore Sintra’s historic village, known for its romantic atmosphere, narrow streets, traditional architecture, and views over the surrounding green hills. Guests will have free time to walk through the village center, enjoy the local character, browse small shops, and experience the unique charm that makes Sintra one of Portugal’s most iconic destinations.
Visit Casa Piriquita, one of Sintra’s most iconic pastry shops, famous for Travesseiro and Queijada. Guests can taste these traditional sweets and enjoy a classic part of Sintra’s local culture. Purchases are not included.
PRIVATE TOUR OPTION ONLY: Quinta da Regaleira is not included, not visited, and not part of the itinerary on the Small Group Option. Visit Quinta da Regaleira, one of Sintra’s most fascinating monuments, known for its mystical gardens, symbolic architecture, underground tunnels, and the famous Initiation Well.
Enjoy free time for lunch at a traditional local Portuguese restaurant, selected for authentic food, good quality, and a genuine local atmosphere away from the most touristy areas. This is a chance to taste real Portuguese cuisine in a relaxed setting. Lunch is not included and is paid directly by guests.
Stand at Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe, where dramatic cliffs meet the Atlantic Ocean. This short scenic stop offers panoramic coastal views, fresh ocean air, and one of the most iconic photo opportunities of the tour. Guests will have free time to enjoy the viewpoint, take photos, and experience the wild beauty of Portugal’s Atlantic coast.
Visit Boca do Inferno, one of Cascais’ most famous coastal viewpoints, where the Atlantic waves crash against dramatic rock formations and sea caves. This short scenic stop offers impressive ocean views, fresh sea air, and a great photo opportunity before continuing toward the center of Cascais.
End the day in Cascais, one of Portugal’s most elegant coastal towns. Guests will have free time to explore the historic center, walk along the seaside streets, enjoy ocean views, browse local shops, or relax in one of the town’s charming squares. Once a fishing village and later a royal summer retreat, Cascais combines history, coastal beauty, and a relaxed seaside atmosphere.

To make communication easier, we kindly ask guests to use WhatsApp with the contact number provided to arrange and confirm the tour details. Pick-up and drop-off are included only with the private tour option, from hotels, Airbnbs, the cruise terminal, and Lisbon Airport, within Lisbon. Take Note: -For the small-group tour option, pick-up and drop-off take place at the Hard Rock Cafe in Lisbon. -The small-group tour option requires a minimum of 4 participants to operate. If the minimum number is not reached, we will try to reschedule the tour for another day. If this is not possible, the tour may be cancelled up to 24 hours in advance, with a full refund issued.

- The Private Tour Option offers a more personalized and flexible experience, with hotel pick-up and drop-off included in Lisbon. This option includes admission tickets to both Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira.
- The order of the itinerary may change according to the scheduled entrance time at Pena Palace, in order to provide the best possible experience.
- Due to unexpected circumstances, local restrictions, or monument closures, attractions may occasionally be unavailable. When possible, an alternative itinerary will be offered.

Today’s tour of Cascais and Sintra and everything in between was amazing! Miguel was our tour guide and he was awesome, super friendly and considerate, caring and knowledgeable of the history and locations we went to. We stopped at a few more places since we had time - Boca de Inferno, Cabo de Roca, Azenas de Mar beach, and within Sintra village. The suggested lunch place was really good too. We had an excellent day and highly recommend this tour to Sintra and Cascais!
