From the train's perspective, Lap An Lagoon appears like a vivid picture with green patches of wet rice fields, rich flora and fauna, and floating water surface. You can see basket boats gently rowing on the water, creating a peaceful and quiet picture of a peaceful countryside.
Following Lap An Lagoon is Lang Co Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam. Lang Co Beach attracts tourists with its smooth white sand and turquoise sea water. From afar, the mountain ranges and forests hidden in the mist create a majestic and wild scene.
As the train rolls through Hai Van Pass, passengers will witness a series of wonderful landscapes. First is the constant flow of the sea below, with white waves crashing against the limestone shores of the coastal strip. The vast seascape opens before your eyes like a work of natural art. Next, passengers will admire the majestic beauty of the eye-catching green mountain ranges, surrounded by fog and white clouds, creating a mysterious and romantic space. The scenery here is not only beautiful but also very immersed in nature, creating a feeling of relaxation and tranquility for those who pass by.

This is a company who books your ticket for you. The views are beautiful if you’re on the right side of the train. Otherwise it can be hard to see because people will close the curtains and sleep. It has one long stop in the middle.

Beautiful way to get from Huế to Đà Nẵng, it is inexpensive, very comfortable, but does lack the tour aspect.

The train was spacious and clean. The views were beautiful. There was a csr that had singing performances and hot food you could purchase. 2.5 hours was a comfortable length of of time.

Lovely views. You have to book the actual Heritage train and a seat on the left side for the best views of the bay.

This was an amazing mode of transport between Hue to Danang. The scenery was amazing and the seats very comfortable. Booked through Trip advisor which is always who we book through and had seated tickets in the preferred left side. There is a food carriage on this train and the do a Vietnamese dance during the trip. So much better than going by plane.

We are very happy with this company Always on time
This train route was hyped as one of the world's most beautiful. We didn't find it that way. There were some glimpses of the coast, but most of the time it was obstructed by telephone/electrical lines, which should logically have been placed on the mountain side instead of the seaside. We found the Bergen-Oslo and the Anchorage-Seward rides much more beautiful. The Vietnamese classical music performances in the cafe car was pretty good though, and was the highlight of our round trip.
Absolutely fantastic!! The train journey is beautiful and is one of the top 10 in the world! It takes about 3.5 hours to get from De Nang to Hue. The breathtaking views and (if you want to) wonderful dancing and singing with the local Vietnam tourists, is a lot of fun. There is also traditional live music playing. Certainly one of the most fun things I’ve done in Vietnam!! The seats are comfortable and the train is not freeing cold ( like most trains) inside!! So if you want a great experience with a memorable day out !! Go for it !!!
Although maybe a slightly long at 3 and a half hours the scenery was spectacular. Don't make the mistake we made thinking it was a return journey. That said our tour operator secured us a shuttle bus to get us home at reasonable cost.
