Itinerary
For the Kulen Waterfall, Banteay Srei, and Beng Mealea Tour, we will pick you up from your hotel in Siem Reap between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. The journey to the mountain takes approximately 2 hours, offering scenic views of the Cambodian countryside along the way. You’ll spend the day exploring Banteay Srei, Beng Mealea Temple, and Kulen Mountain’s historical and natural attractions, including the Reclining Buddha, the River of a Thousand Lingas, and the waterfall. After a full day of exploration, we’ll drop you off at your hotel in the evening, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish.
Banteay Srei is a 10th-century Cambodian temple dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Located about 25 kilometers (15.5 miles) north of Angkor Wat, it's renowned for its intricate carvings, which are considered some of the finest in all of Khmer architecture. The temple is made of red sandstone, allowing for elaborate and detailed artwork, including scenes from Hindu.
Preah Ang Thom is an 8 meters (26 ft) tall statue of the reclining Buddh reaching nirvana. The statue is carved into a huge natural sandstone boulder to which a modern staircase has been added along with a shelter over the Buddha. It is a very sacred and special site for all Cambodians and there are always patrons visiting the site and at times becoming quite busy.
Along a stretch of the riverbed for around 500 m there are carvings of linga, several big and small yoni, and a large carving of Vishnu. Along the walls of the riverbed, a small carving is also seen in the bedrock.
There are two main waterfall in Phnom Kulen National Park. First waterfall: 4–5 metres (13–16 ft) tall and around 25 metres (82 ft) wide during the rainy seasons. Second waterfall: 15–20 metres (49–66 ft) tall and around 15 metres (49 ft) wide during the rainy seasons. The size of the waterfalls varies according to the seasons and the rain. Visiting the waterfalls is a popular activity on Kulen Mountain Tour.
Lunch will be at a local restaurant near either Beng Mealea Temple or Banteay Srei Temple, depending on the timing.
Beng Mealea, located about 40 kilometers east of Angkor Wat, is one of Cambodia’s most enigmatic temples. Built in the early 12th century, it remains largely unrestored, giving visitors a sense of discovery as they wander through its collapsed galleries and vine-covered walls. Unlike other temples in the region, Beng Mealea is surrounded by thick jungle, with trees and roots intertwined with the temple stones, creating an atmosphere of mystery and adventure. Its massive scale and largely untouched state make it a captivating destination for those seeking a more authentic, off-the-beaten-path experience.
After a full day of exploring Banteay Srei, Beng Mealea Temple, and Kulen Mountain’s historical and natural attractions, including the Reclining Buddha, the River of a Thousand Lingas, and the waterfall, we will begin the return journey in the late afternoon. The drive back to Siem Reap takes about 1.5 hours, and we will drop you off at your hotel around 5:00PM to 5:30 PM, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing end to your tour.

The tours are very well organized. The hotel pickup is punctual, the car is clean and the driver careful and skilled. The guide (in my experience, Tann) speaks very good English and is a qualified professional with 20 years of experience in this industry. I had a very good experience, a full day with temples, waterfalls and beautiful panoramas. Highly recommended!!!
Our guide Tann and driver Nat were both very kind and we really enjoyed the tour. My father and I have had a very good experience with the water, the oshibori service, and the careful driving of the bumpy roads to make us feel comfortable. I can barely speak English, but my guide, TAN, explained it very well. The lunch restaurant was also very clean and we had a good meal.
In one day, I had a fun day visiting various places. The guide, Tan, also explained very carefully and was easy to understand.
Please don’t skip this activity ! Swimming in the waterfall and having the opportunity to get lost to ancient temples accompanied by local treats is a must. If you can choose your guide, I’d strongly recommend Mr Tann: polite, smiley, discreet, he gave us lots of useful information AND an excellent photographer, thanks to him I have photos that seem to be taken from a professional !
Tann was amazing. And so was the driver. Had the best time and really would go again. Thank you yo him and the driver. A memorable expereince.
The Bemmerian ruins were really beautiful. They were also flexible enough to take us to the airport. Tan-san, I'm glad the guide was easy to understand. If you are in doubt, I definitely recommend you to go!

It was a great value tour, as it allowed us to efficiently go around places that are difficult for individuals to go♪ Our guide, Tan, was very kind and gave us a detailed explanation using the translation app, as we were anxious about English, so it was an English tour, but we enjoyed it without worrying about it. The bumpy road along the way was also safe to drive carefully. Thank you for taking so many photos. I highly recommend this tour where you can experience not only the ruins but also the nature of Cambodia.

Had a great day with my guide Tann. Beautiful varied tour that is really an addition to your visit to Siem Reap. The day trip includes a fine variety of temples, waterfalls and nature. The variety and the temples that are really different from Ankor Watt make this trip definitely worthwhile. Good friendly guide, clear communication, clear conditions and no upselling/souvernirs stops. Transportation is luxurious and air-conditioned and safe so you don't have to carry your stuff around all the time. In short, highly recommended with good value for money!

The guide was SO knowledgeable about the location, history and tips of where to take photos. The temple still in ruins was easy to access and I recommend visiting. The reclining Buddha was at the top of many steps and worth the climb. The waterfalls, river carvings and cliff top were fascinating and spectacular
