Dim Cave is a natural and karstic cave. It was formed as a result of the melting of limestone rocks along the fracture zone by rain and snow waters rich in carbonic acid (H2Co3). It is thought that tectonics also contributed to the formation and development of the cave. Dim Cave is in the Lower Paleozoic Age, less metamorphic crystallized very hard and very thick bedded gray-dark gray limestone formation, which forms the main mass of Cebel Reis Mountain in the Middle Taurus Mountains.

The best day- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Fantastic experience, so much fun- hosts made it with the great amount of effort they put in from start to finish. Something for everyone on this trip, food was great and the location of food was proper authentic and fun for the kids. Also, no dropping off/stopping at selling points which was an appreciated bonus. KIDS LOVED IT!! as did we as adults! Thankyou :))

A fun way to explore the mountains and Sapadere Canyon

We joined this Jeep safari while staying in the Alanya area and it turned out to be a good way to see a completely different side of the region away from the beaches and resorts. For me, Sapadere Canyon was the highlight of the day. The walk through the canyon is very scenic, with clear mountain water, rocky cliffs and waterfalls along the route. Some sections can be wet and slippery, but the walking itself was manageable and we never felt that it was a serious hike. The Jeep journey made the day more adventurous and gave us a chance to see some of the countryside and mountain scenery around Alanya. The ride can be quite bumpy in places, so I would keep that in mind if traveling with very young children or anyone with back problems. The stops around the river and cave added some variety, although I would personally consider them secondary to Sapadere Canyon. I liked that the tour combined several smaller experiences rather than spending the whole day at one attraction. For families who enjoy nature and want a break from the coast, this is a good day out. I would choose an organized tour for this type of excursion, especially if you are unfamiliar with the mountain roads. Overall, Sapadere Canyon was easily the most memorable part for me. The combination of mountain scenery, waterfalls and the Jeep journey made it a nice change from a typical beach day around Alanya. Transportation: Jeep transportation is part of the experience, with several stops during the day. Duration: I would allow most of the day, approximately 7–8 hours depending on pickup location and the itinerary.

Great experience

Was really surprisingly fun, don't forget headgear and sunglasses, and be prepared to have water fights to cool off during the ride, that's part of the program :)

Dangerous visit to Sapadere booked with Ahmet

In a remote open sawn Ford Transit with a driver driving like an idiot, dangerous traffic situations and water fights with other vans.

Terrific fun with action and a lot to see

An incredibly fun excursion, on which you see the breathtaking nature. The transfer worked without any problems. There was a magnificent water fight on the way to the mountains and back - always from car to car. 10000% soaked from top to bottom with lots and lots of fun. It goes up the mountains, where you have a lot to see. The driver and the guides were absolutely friendly and in a super good mood. The whole excursion was a complete success and a totally great experience.

Great trip with hidden costs

Hello... the tour itself was mega good and we were able to see a lot that day... A negative point was that you had to pay extra for the cave, which was not described anywhere....

Operator response

Huge fun with a guaranteed soaking.

We had a lot of fun and were able to discover beautiful places. The water fights provide a nice way to cool off, even at outside temperatures of up to 40 degrees. Special praise to the organizer's team: our daughter left her cell phone in the jeep and because we flew home in the middle of the night the very next day, a VIP service for transport to the hotel was organized for us late in the evening!

Mega fun to do!

Really enjoyed this excursion. Very good service and don't be afraid to get wet because a water fight in the car is present at least once

Operator response

Could have been given more time for the cave and waterfalls and less time spent on water fights and overtaking each other.

Water fights should be optional. My son and daughter both hated the water being thrown over them, my husband and I also weren't keen. A lovely passenger did try to arrange a water free jeep but she was shut down so rudely and was told if she didn't stop they would order her a taxi back to her hotel. It was totally unacceptable. After speaking to a few of the other people they also hated the water fights and thought there should be more time at the canyon waterfalls, and the cave. Having two young children and having long distances to get up to the key areas made us have a lot less time to enjoy it. As soon as we got to the cave we only had 7 minutes to see one side of it before we had to head back to the jeep. My son was quite upset he couldn't see the deeper side of the cave. Didn't get lunch, the venue for lunch was overridden, kids grabbing food with hands and contaminating the salad with chicken, not good for those who eat vegan or vegetarian. Was told "no" to a vegetarian meal, so sat down empty handed only to be told by tour guide there is a vegetarian option, wasn't keen on it regardless, but definitely a miscommunication from the venue. Overall, underwhelming. Definitely would look at a different tour if you're not keen on water fights out of nowhere and want more time to enjoy the scenery of the Sapadere canyon and the Dim Cave.

Operator response

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that the experience did not fully meet your expectations. Water fights have been one of the most popular and enjoyable parts of this tour for many years. However, we also believe that guests who prefer not to participate should always have their choice respected. The approach you described does not reflect our service standards, and we will share your feedback with the relevant team. The time spent at Sapadere Canyon and Dim Cave is planned according to the daily itinerary to ensure that all guests can complete the tour on schedule. We are also sorry for the misunderstanding regarding the vegetarian meal. A vegetarian option is available on our tours, and we will review this communication with the restaurant and our team. Thank you for sharing your experience. We carefully consider all guest feedback as part of our ongoing efforts to improve our services.
