Seville City Tour 2 Hour Monumental Segway Tour

We had a great time on our city tour! We learned so many interesting details about the highlights of Seville! Gracious!

First time on Segways, Barry was very good at explaining how to use these. We went to several areas, palace, gardens, tobacco factory, etc. Had a great time, Barry was knowledgeable and kept us entertained. Would recommend this tour, Barry is enthusiastic and entertaining!

The Segway tour was the highlight of our day. We were a family of 4 with 2 teenage kids - 18years and 15years. Were a bit nervous initially as we hadn’t been on a Segway before but Barry, our guide, was brilliant and ensured we were comfortable before we started. It was very easy to pick up and so much fun!! Covered all the main highlights in the 2 hours. Highly recommend it.

We visited Seville which is a vibrant capital of Andalusia. We start our tour from Plaza de Espana built in 1929 for Ibero American Exposition which is a masterpiece of architecture takes you to history, culture, and artistic heritage of Spain. After that we moved to Royal Alcázar one of Europe's oldest royal palaces still in use. It is famous for exquisite Mudéjar architecture, elegant courtyards, and lush gardens. Then we explored Las Setas which features a unique mushroom-shaped design, panoramic walkways, an archaeological museum, and breathtaking views of Seville. We booked our tickets from GetYourGuide for Alcazar & Las Setas while Plaza de Espana is free. Seville is a must visit if you are in Spain.

Our tour guide was friendly and entertaining, their gift of the Irish blarney was in full display throughout the tour. They had plenty of amusing stories, delivered with charm and humour. Unfortunately many of the stories were about themselves and their family rather than Seville itself. We were hoping for more unique, quirky and lesser-known facts about Seville and its landmarks. Much of the commentary felt like a textbook and lacked the interesting local insights that really bring a place to life. The tour would also benefited from earpieces/audio system. As we travelled around the city on Segways, it was often difficult to hear the commentary and it would have been great to learn more as we passed rather than stopping occasionally for explanations. There was also a lack of photo opportunities of the city and us as a group. Seville is a beautiful city with stacks of picturesque spots but there were very few planned stops for photos. It would have been great if our guide pointed out the best locations for photos and if we’d been able to have a group photo taken. Segways were great, excellent way to cover a lot of ground, see the highlights of Seville and navigate the city with ease. Overall an enjoyable experience that could have been improved with more focused content and better comms system while on the move.

Segway Tour of Seville We met Barry (from Cork) promptly at 1100 and after instruction we set off across the city. Thankfully both of us had ridden Segways before and so we got straight into it. Rest assured they are really intuitive to use and you’ll be comfortable after just a few minutes. Barry took us around the expected tourist sights and was engaging and witty. An Irishman who can talk (and talk) hardly a surprise! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and would recommend it as a way of assimilating the city early in your holiday. Thanks for the craic Barry. N&S

Amazing tour! Best tour we’ve ever experienced. Zack was exceptional. Personable, knowledgeable and encouraging. He was patient as we learned how to ride the segways. So charming and engaging. We wish all tours were like this.

Barry made this a great first time experience for my family. Our 11 & 12 year olds learned to ride in about 15 minutes and then we were off. Barry made us all feel comfortable with Segwaying through the city and seeing the sites. We had time to walk around a few places. Being able to see the sites cut down on walking the entire city and allowed us to decide what we wanted to actually see. Highly recommend this option.

We really enjoyed our tour with Zach! We are first time Segway users and we were really happy with his instruction and patience. We were up and running in no time. Zach provided great insight to the city and made our tour memorable. I highly recommend!

Great fun roaming the city with Zak our guide, if anything we wished we'd gone for a three hour tour instead of the two hour.
