Serengeti Mara River Crossing Ngorongoro and Tarangire Safari

We did our safari through the Northern Serengeti, Central Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater, and having Anold as our guide made the entire trip. With over a decade of experience, his ability to read animal behavior is incredible. Instead of just chasing radio chatter or crowding around other trucks, Anold consistently anticipated what the wildlife would do next. At one point, he predicted a hyena hunt and asked us to be patient and wait; sure enough, right after every other vehicle gave up and drove away, the hunt unfolded right in front of us. That sharp instinct also gave us front-row seats to an unforgettable wildebeest river crossing and helped us spot the entire Big Five. He has an unreal eye for finding camouflaged wildlife in the distance and always took the extra second to position the truck for the best angles and photo lighting. On top of that, he’s a remarkably smooth, safe driver on rough roads and fantastic company during long days in the bush. We came to Africa hoping to see a bit of wildlife and the reality blew our minds. Stephen was a wonderful guide. He was a very skillful driver and knew the parks like the back of his hands. We managed to see everything that we hoped for from rhinos to cheetah cubs to playful elephant calves. Stephen was incredible knowledgeable, about the animals, the environment, and the great migration, and gave us all the time we needed to enjoy the animals and the scenery. Ten stars out of five.

Out tour was: 6-day safari in Tarangire,Ngorongoro,Serengeti and 6-day Zanzibar vacation. We had a fantastic holiday, the whole experience was mind-blowing and very well planned. We felt safe and welcome throughout the entire trip and met incredible people both on the mainland and in Zanzibar. Stephen, our safari guide, was the BEST! He was so kind and knowledgeable, able to identify and explain the different varieties of animals we encountered on the safaris, which really enriched the experience. Stephen went above and beyond to allow us to see as many lions as possible, we saw cheetahs and even a leopard, which we thought was never going to happen (because they are quite shy). The Maasai village visit was one of the most amazing experiences we've had. At the beginning it was a bit of a cultural shock because we expected it to be more touristy, but it turned out to be the real thing, which made it far more valuable and meaningful in the end. In Zanzibar we also had a great time, and our accommodation was lovely. Thank you for an unforgettable experience, this is a trip we will always cherish and keep in our hearts.
