Scenic Horseback Riding Experience in Ile-Alatau National Park

Really appreciate the help from Mura! It’s really beginner-friendly. Although I was scared at first, just relax and trust the horse — they’re pretty well-trained, and there are guides at the front, back, and middle to keep everyone safe. They even had tea at the end! 🥹☕️ They gave me a smaller horse because I’m scared of big horses 😂 but it was actually so fun and comfortable for me! 🐎💕

I want to leave a huge thank you to the company for an incredible horseback ride in the mountains. It was one of the most striking and living experiences in Kazakhstan. I was absolutely delighted with the route, with the beauty of nature, with the horses, with the atmosphere and, of course, with the guide and the whole team. I would like to mention our guide - a true professional of his business. Calm, attentive, confident, collected. You could see that the man knew the route perfectly well, felt the horses and knew how to keep the group safe. Even when the weather changed dramatically and heavy rain began to fall, the team acted clearly, calmly and professionally. Horses are a separate love. Smart, beautiful, strong, well-groomed. It felt like every horse knew its way and helped you trust the process. The route was amazing: the mountains, the steppes, the forest, the air, the views — everything so beautiful that words are hard to convey. This is not just horseback riding, it is a real immersion in the nature, freedom and atmosphere of Kazakhstan. I'm very grateful to the whole team for this experience. My first time in Kazakhstan, I had nothing planned but booked this trip one day before. Mura from almatytourss collected me from my airbnb and other on the way. We were given instructions on how to control the horse and there were zero issues. We passed by beautiful scenery, every 5 minutes a new picture had to be taken on my phone. The trip was worthwhile and felt very scenic. As a solo traveler, this felt great to connect with nature. Once we ended the trip, we came back to the camp and had tea and pastries in a yurt. The timing was perfect as the sun was setting. Big thanks to Mura and his team. I highly recommend to book this if youre in Almaty 🙌
