This is the "southern turn" of the route, showcasing the iconic white fountain and the grand Victorian-era mansions that line the park's perimeter.
Pass through Monterey Square. This area is famous for its lush canopy and its connection to the book Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.
Cutting across toward Abercorn Street, you’ll reach the most stunning spire in the city. The French Gothic architecture here provides a dramatic contrast to the surrounding colonial-style homes.
Moving toward the northern edge of the district (near Reynolds Square), you see the oldest standing structures. The Pink House and the Planters Inn showcase the brick-and-stucco charm of the late 1700s.
Features rare ironwork and multi-level brick passages that reflect Savannah's cotton trade history. Offers a vantage point that captures both the historic warehouses and the modern
Overlooking the Savannah River. You’ll see the Savannah City gold dome and look down onto the historic cobblestones where cotton "factors" once traded.

For starters, the van did NOT look like that. It was white and older. Some of use thought we were going to be on a colorful bus while others thought they would be on a golf cart looking vehicle. It should be noted that the form of transportation may change based on numbers. The tour guide was very nice and funny, but he needed a microphone. For the cost, I would expect better. I used my Viator points, so my out-of-pocket cost was very low.
Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed your guide's humor and friendliness. We appreciate your comments about the vehicle and audio, and we'll take them into consideration as we continue improving our guest experience. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back on a future tour.
This was a great experience for us as the tour made everything in the city meaningful. The admission fee is fair and the tour gave us good value for our money. The length of the tour was good at 1 hour 45 mins which gave us ample time to visit many historical and important parts of the city. Our tour guide Mike was excellent. The atmosphere was excellent and we were not over crowded in the bus . However there is need for a clear description and easy location of the pick up zone, the only frustrating part of our tour.
