Guide was very knowledgeable. Food was great. It was hot, but it is August . I would recommend coming during a cooler part of the year.
We enjoyed our time with this food tour - we had Gail and she did a wonderful job! Only reason for 4 stars is because we were moved up to an earlier tour time due to ours “not filling” and then we were in a group of 16 - when it was advertised to be less than 14 people. We would have much rather had a smaller group than such a large one.
Our hostess Lisa was amazing- learned so much about Savannah and the food was great!
Yay! That's what we want to hear! We'll pass along your kind words to Lisa, come back soon!
Our guide Joshua was awesome he kept us entertained and the food was unbelievable. We are telling all our friends and family about the sights and food in Savannah.
We are so glad you had a good time with Josh! He is such a pro. Welcome to the foodie crew!
The guide, Gayle, was well-informed and lots of fun. We learned about the history of certain dishes and of Savannah. The food tastings were all excellent.
Fun tour. Food and guide were great! Nice walk around downtown with a little history lesson. Recommend.
All five senses were working overtime! We heard about Savannah’s history, we felt the cobblestones streets and ramps, we saw the beautiful city squares and gorgeous gardens and of course we smelled and tasted some wonderful foods that we wouldn’t have tried without this tour. What a great way to see, hear and feel the city’s history, and taste and smell the foods, highly recommend. Our guide, Cindy was fantastic! We walked at a comfortable pace and even had time to see some things that weren’t on the posted route! 5 stars for Cindy and this tour!
Thanks so much for the love! We'll be sure to let Cindy know that you had a good time! Thanks so much!
Food paired with history and history paired with food….. an outstanding experience from the first to the last step!!
Thanks so much for the glowing review! We're thrilled you had a good time! Come back soon!
Amazing way to see the city! Our tour guide was phenomenal and the food was fantastic.
This is my second food tour ever and, well, now I think it’s my thing to do on vaca. WELL worth the money and time if you are a foodie, like history, and enjoy walking. Our tour group size was about 10. While I think this tour is appropriate for tweens and up, they too should also appreciate food, history, and can do the walk. I’d skip this one for the littles. Tour length was just over 3 hours, we had 6 tastings, and could order alcoholic (and non-alcoholic) beverages at several stops (not included in the price). Our tour guide, DeMi, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the city’s history and architecture. Our favorite dish was the shrimp and grits from 22 Square Restaurant & Bar in the Andaz hotel. So good in fact, we went back for brunch later in the week. The stops between eateries ranged from historical, to mid-century, to modern. All of them interesting. Savannah is so compact with sites to explore, while it felt like we covered a lot of ground and variety, the walk and rests made it a very comfortable pace.
Thanks for the love! We will be sure to pass it along to DeMi! Welcome to the foodie crew!
