Sapa 1 day trek with local guide to the village by Comlam

We had the absolute best day today exploring the beautiful villages around Sapa with the lovely Lo Man May! ❤️ We booked our tour directly through our wonderful eco homestay, and it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. The tour lasted around 6 hours, starting at 9am and finishing around 3pm. Our guide, Lo Man May, was absolutely amazing so sweet, kind, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about sharing her home and culture with us. She took us through the local villages and taught us so much about the different ethnic groups, their traditions and how they live. We explored the bamboo forest and saw so many local crops, including cardamom and cinnamon. We also walked through two beautiful waterfalls where we were able to swim, which was so refreshing! 💦🌿 Along the way, we stopped for a delicious local meal and had plenty of opportunities to take in the incredible scenery. The views were absolutely breathtaking from start to finish. 🏔️ We genuinely cannot recommend Lo Man May enough. She made the whole experience so special, and we loved every minute of our day with her. If you’re staying in a homestay in Sapa, we would 100% recommend doing a local guided trek with her, it’s an absolute must! ❤️

We had an amazing day with our guide Di! She told us many interesting things about the region and the culture, she was very very friendly and took us through beautiful areas. I would love to repeat and I fully recommend the experience ❤️

We were guided by Vâng Di, she picked us up at our homestay, and we went up the rice fields, we saw buffalow very close! And we just had a fantastic trip with sunshine and views of the rice fields .. she told about the rice and the local life in every village we came to. Very nice guide.

Trek of about 13km with ascents and descents, parts a little technical but still accessible to the majority of people. Our guide Mai was really nice!

We spent an extraordinary day with La Man May, a gentle, friendly and really attentive guide, who taught us a ton of things about local life, the different cultures of the northern ethnic groups of the country, flora, rice cultivation, bamboo forests and so much more! The man may and the route were perfect, I would definitely recommend it. The day didn't accompany him too much but it gave him some of his charm.
