City center meeting point is Grønnegata 87, right outside Cafe Sånn Google Maps link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/zvEPRsVo4soPTkjt7 If you are travelling by cruise ship, please specify on your booking as we will make a stop at Breivika port on our way to the camp. Pick up in the port will be approximately 10-15 minutes after the city center pick-up.

The reindeer visit was very well organized. It was truly a touching experience to pet and feed the reindeer. There was a great selection of hot drinks available, and plenty of space to warm up by the fire, which made the experience even more comfortable. The explanation of Sami culture was very interesting and engaging — we really appreciated learning more about their traditions and way of life.
I had a wonderful time on this tour. I got to feed a baby reindeer and adult reindeer, learn a lot about Sami culture, try homemade bread with local berries, reindeer meat, and local sweets and drinks, and go inside a traditional Sami housing structure. I would highly recommend going on this tour. The views of the nature nearby were also stunning!

Our guide, Andreas, a native of Tromso, was a fantastic tour guide: friendly, accommodating, and very knowledgeable. His concern for everyone’s preferences made it feel like a private tour. Even though we knew seeing reindeer was not a guarantee in the summer, Andreas found an opportunity to see a bunch of them up close. This started the trip off on the best foot for us, especially our kids! On our route, we saw the most beautiful sights, including Sommeroy, and lots of waterfalls. We were able to get beautiful pics and Andreas also took some great photos. This trip will be our best memory of Tromso for sure.

This experience was awesome. The guides were very knowledgeable and interesting. The reindeer are gentle and we fed them several different types of feed and were able to interact with them for a good amount of time. The Sami culture discussion was ever interesting. We tried traditional foods including brown cheese and reindeer jerky. Overall I highly recommend this experience.

Avoid booking with them or you will regret. I had booked a Sami Cultural Experience with them a few weeks in advance and this was supposed to be the highlight of my trip to Norway and guess what? On the the day of the tour nobody showed up and when I called them, it turned out that they had cancelled the activity without even notifying. Their behavior is not acceptable and they should be out of business as they have no respect for their clients.

This tour is something we take great pride in offering, and we understand how upsetting it must have been to have plans disrupted . Unfortunately, due to an unexpected technical issue in our booking system, your reservation did not register correctly on our end, which led to the unfortunate lack of communication and cancellation. We fully recognize that this is our responsibility, and for that, we sincerely apologize. While we understand your strong reaction, we do want to clarify—respectfully—that since the tour didn’t actually take place, the review does not reflect the experience we strive to provide to our guests. That said, we are taking this situation seriously and have already taken steps to prevent similar issues from happening in the future.
