Our 2 day trip with the guide Babur was truly an amazing experience - the highlight of our whole holiday. Everything worked perfectly fine and we felt taken care of! Babur picked us up from our hotel in Samarkand, we drove to the border and met our driver on the other side. We passed by Panjakent where we went to a local market to buy lunch. Then we drove to the 7 lakes, stopped at each of them. Timing was really flexible and we could also take a swim and a walk. After that, we drove around 2h to Artuch where we stayed in a super nice homestay and met other travellers. The next morning we did a hike to another lake which was even more beautiful and less touristic. We had great conversations with Babur who is really smart and respectful and we are grateful we got to know his culture. The driver is also very kind and experienced and had great driving skills. I heartily recommend to do 2 days in Tajik mountains! You shouldn’t miss this! Thanks again for this experience 🩵
