Salsa & Bachata Nightlife Tour in Medellín with a Local Dancer

Description
Experience Medellín’s nightlife as your intro to Latin dance culture — through rhythm, connection, and a night made for you. Not a crowded bar crawl — but a safe, dance-focused night guided by a local dancer who adapts to your vibe. We start with a basic salsa or bachata group class — rooftop, hostel, or academy. No experience needed — if you can try, you can dance. Beginners: practice and enjoy. Experienced: dive into open-level dance socials with locals. Then we hit Medellín’s nightlife — rooftop lounge, local club, or dance socials. ✦ Weeknights: authentic Latin dance. ✦ Weekends: same energy plus party vibe. Groups vary — from one-on-one to small or lively. Solo, couple, or friends, you’ll fit right in. This is more than entry to a class or club — it’s a curated shortcut into Medellín’s dance culture, with spots you wouldn’t find alone, plus insider tips and guidance to connect you with the scene. Check “What’s Included” for the breakdown. Spots are limited — book early.

The guides are all very nice. I had never danced before this and the class was easy to follow. The nightlife tour was also nice and a good way to experience the city in a safer way.
Review I absolutely loved this salsa and bachata dance tour in Medellín! Sebastian and Miguel were amazing guides and such great hosts. They were both so much fun to dance with and made the entire experience feel welcoming, fun, and effortless. I loved the different spots they took us to. We got to experience Medellín’s dance scene in a way I definitely wouldn’t have been able to on my own. The music, dancing, atmosphere, and energy made for such a fun night. If you love salsa, bachata, or just want a fun way to experience Medellín’s nightlife, I highly recommend this tour. I had an amazing time and would absolutely do it again!
So funny and good experience. Advice all of you
Our tour guide Sebastian was amazing. Amazing to get to know and super helpful throughout everything.
Santiago was absolutely fantastic! We had such an amazing time. Greatly recommend!!
Our guide Sebastian was excellent! We had a lot of fun learning salsa & bachata. The class is only in Spanish so we had to learn by watching but the teachers were great. He also took us to some cool places after the class
Sebastian 10/10 salsa and bachata, helped me to learn the dances and was able to dance with my wife
Truly a very pleasant and fun experience, there were two of us on the tour but it was really fun. I recommend it completely
This was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Medellín. It wasn’t just about learning the steps, they literally immersed us in Medellín’s dance culture, sharing the history behind salsa and why it’s such an important part of the city’s identity. That made the entire experience so much more meaningful. The instructors were incredible: patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone felt comfortable, regardless of experience level. Their energy was contagious, and they made learning so much fun. The salsa and bachata rooms were absolutely buzzing with life. The music, the people, the atmosphere, it all felt so authentic and welcoming. You could really feel the joy and passion for dance everywhere around you. Don’t skip this experience! Whether you’re a complete beginner or have danced before, you’ll leave with new skills, a deeper appreciation for the culture, and memories you’ll be talking about long after your trip.
My partner and I enjoyed this tour. It is well planned and safe. We were supposed to be a group, but it happened that it was only us 3 (couple + guide). So it basically became a private tour, which was totally fine. Andrea is a knowledgeable and respectful guide who introduced us into social dancing and the Salsa and Bachata culture. The whole experience lasted approximately 4 hours and started with a 1 1/2h dancing class (together with other beginners), followed by information (as mentioned above) and observing other professional dancers (as well as continuing practicing what we learned before). After that one is free to enjoy Medellíns nightlife as a group. 10/10 would totally recommend. Especially as a beginner it's a great start. No shame here :)
