São Miguel : Level 1 Canyoning in Ribeira dos Caldeirões, Azores

Very good first experience with Rodrigo and Victor who, in addition to being patient and very professional, are friendly and funny. The course is really suitable for families. Our 8-year-old daughter was able to do everything, small and big jumps, zip line, rappelling, slide, all in complete safety and in a magnificent setting! Thank you!

Great canyoning experience! Our guides- Eduardo and Manuel were really great; reassuring, knowledgeable and fun! Tour is priced higher than others but you have a smaller group (less waiting time and more 1:1 with instructors) so was worth it. Level 1 is definitely on the easier side (apart from the last jump!!!) - so if you’re brave go for level 2! Scenery is beautiful also but the guides made it. Had a great day, would 100% recommend.

A great experience in the middle of a beautiful setting! We had a wonderful tour as a family (introduction to canyoning); the groups are small, and therefore the guides can cater to individual needs very well. The explanations are great; we felt safe at all times! For the particularly adventurous there are great jumps, and those who are more anxious can choose alternatives. The price-performance ratio is also good; we can absolutely recommend it!

Our tour guide was fantastic — professional, knowledgeable, patient, and made us feel completely safe and comfortable the entire time. He also made the experience really enjoyable and memorable. The guides were very fun and kind. We went on a scenic route hiking and exploring rivers and waterfalls. I would definitely recommend this one!

We had a fantastic experience with Basaltic Azores Adventures. My kids (8 & 10 years) absolutely loved the Canyoning 1 tour. Diogo and his team were absolute amazing guides. Super nice and fun energy so everybody felt safe and secure. The kids jumped 6 meters and loved every second. The scenery is unreal beautiful and breathtaking. Absolutely recommend!!
