Relive the city’s highlights through three key periods: Roman Rouen, its origins and its first fortifications, Medieval Rouen, capital of the Duchy and witness of Joan of Arc, Modern Rouen, marked by urban transformations and major events. This tour takes you through the history of Rouen from the 3rd century BC. C. to the present day, following the evolution of the city, its stones and its soul. *I am dependent on the opening hours of the cathedral. On occasion, the tour may be in both English and French, depending on the number of reservations I have.

Justin is a brilliant guide. He was professional and kind, reaching out to us when we mentioned Grandma and her mobility aid when booking. Justin checked with us to make sure he had an understanding of her capacity and offered suggestions and accommodations to be sure the tour was enjoyable for our whole family. With ages ranging from 16 to 87, he handled everyone's interests beautifully. His passion for the history of Rouen and Joan of Arc is only surpassed by his actual knowledge. The stories he told were fascinating and had us all hanging on every word. Justin offered to take family group photos throughout the tour also. And his photos are really good. He took the time to give us additional recommendations of other things to see and do in Rouen after the tour which was appreciated too. Highly recommend Justin and this walking tour!
