As a couple, we really had a great experience in a group of 5 people + our chef Chinh (Collin). Was super fun and we enjoyed the whole activity. Really nice outgoing and fun guy with also great cooking skills. Food was great. Definitely can recommend.
I took the cooking class with Alex and it was an amazing experience! I learned so much at the visit to the market and had a lot of fun cooking! The food was amazing, Alex was a great teacher, and they are very accommodating for allergies. Highly recommend!
Great instructor Chris, market shopping experience with lots of cultural insights and of course wonderful selection of dishes to make and share with interesting people. My absolute favorite is the grilled pork bun cha and egg coffee.
Thank you so much for this wonderful review 😄 Chris will be so happy to hear this! We’re glad you enjoyed the market visit, cultural insights, and sharing the cooking experience with others. Our Culture Storyteller will especially love that bun cha and egg coffee were your favorites 💛 Hope to see you again soon!
We had a great time at Rose’s Cooking Class in Hanoi. Everything was well organized, and the atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed from the start. Our teacher Kim was wonderful. She was very kind, spoke perfect English, and explained every step in a simple and clear way. She also shared interesting background information about the dishes and cooking methods. A special highlight was the visit to the local market. We went there together with Kim and bought fresh ingredients. She explained a lot about the local food and daily life, which made the experience even more interesting. The cooking part was fun and easy to follow. The ingredients were fresh, and the food we made was really delicious. This cooking class is a must-do in Hanoi. We highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about Vietnamese food and culture.
Our exceedingly helpful and insightful tourguide/kitchen instructor Kim showed us exactly how to spot the best produce (and other delicious ingredients!) at a local street market and then carefully guided us through a hands-on preparation of a handful of delicious dishes, taking time to also teach us about their cultural significance in the process (did you know why they call them spring rolls?) Good times, delicious food (oh, and if you get a chance, try out the chocolate drink! It's to die for) - definitely recommend, 10/10, taking my mom next time I get a chance!
Great fun, really interesting, excellent host and learned a lot. Maxie, our host and teacher was a gem. Really recommend.
The trip was exactly as described… learning about Vietnamese food/vegetables and cooking a delicious meal together! It was an incredibly smooth process and I felt looked after… the drop off was an added bonus. Simon was a great and enthusiastic teacher
Had a really great time with our Teacher, Alex! He explained the essence of Vietnamese cuisine very well.
It was fun! Alex, our instructor was very informative and funny 😊
