Itinerary

We'll drive and stop by the Colosseum, to admire one of the world-renowned monuments on Earth and one of the most representative of the ancient Rome. Built in the 1st Century AD, it's actual name is Flavian Amphitheater (Anfiteatro Flavio), after the dynasty name of the emperor Adriano who commissioned its construction, around the year 72 AD. In this case, let us know the time of your booking.

15 min

Located in the valley between the Palatine and Aventine hills, today a public open space, it was the largest structure used for chariot races in Rome, able to accommodate around 250,000 spectators

15 min

Known abroad as the "Spanish Steps", it's not Spanish at all. It's actual name is Trinità dei Monti Steps (Scalinata della Trinità dei Monti), the name of the church, built by the French community settled in that area, on top of the Steps. Indeed, Spanish is the square at the bottom of the steps (Piazza di Spagna).

15 min

In Piazza Venezia, it is the monument built between 1885 and 1935 to celebrate the unification of Italy and its first king, Vittorio Emanuele. Since 1921, it has also been the memorial to the Unknown Soldier

The Pantheon, from the ancient greek Pantheion, the "temple of all the gods", is the best preserved ancient building in Rome. Built in the 3rd decade of the 2nd Century AD under the reign of the emperor Adrian (who allegedly designed it) on the site of an earlier temple, it became a Catholic church since the beginning of the 7th century. It is still in use today.

The best and most beautiful view of Rome

30 min

We'll take you right by the most famous fountain in Rome, built in the 18th Century to celebrate the reconstruction of one of the several ancient roman aqueducts

30 min

Once you have crossed the colonnade, border of St. Peter's Square, you will already be in the territory of Vatican City. From the square, with the obelisk previously placed on the spina of Nero's Circus at its center, you can admire the sumptuous facade of St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican palaces

240 min

Together we will explore other places and sites of ancient, medieval, Renaissance, and “modern” Rome
