Our family with two teens had a fun afternoon at the Rock Hall. The artists on display were diverse enough that we all found items to appreciate. We followed the standard path through, starting with the main exhibit hall in the basement, then moved upstairs to play instruments in the Garage area, peruse the Hall of Fame itself and watch the high-energy Power of Rock show. The gift shop was particularly well curated. We spent about three hours total, but see how major fans could get lost there for hours more. Note that as of August 2026, there is significant construction mostly impacting the entrance area - we agree with their recommendation to purchase tickets online ahead of time.
It is cyclical , so you may not see some of the artists you thought to see There is difficulty parking due to construction which was not mentioned when ordering tickets
No parking , exhibits were fantastic, more signage as to where to park , where to enter. Food choices were slim , but I wasn't there to eat
So much to see. Enjoyed the exhibits.
Such a fun experience as a music lover! 5 floors of things to explore and it also includes interactive areas if you play any!
Top 2 floors require stairs, but it’s a small inconvenience. It was great to be able to walk around with adult beverages!
It shows a wide range of musicians. Male and female. Would love to see more of women who helped or made the rock and roll experience even better!
It was LOUD ! The exhibits are mostly the clothing that artists wore. There was little or nothing about the biographies of the artists. It certainly wasn't very engaging. There are NO discounts available from AAA unless it is an Ohio membership! I have no desire to ever go again.
Great memories of artists long ago and ones we grew up with. I liked seeing the costumes the artists wore up close. It was cool visitors could try their hand at playing instruments. There were gifts of all kinds to remember our experience.
It will take hours to see it all... but its totally worth taking your time. I can't wait to come back and see more.
