The museum was a great experience as well as the boat trip on the canal. Going from the museum to the boat was tricky because Google Maps got confused with the canals lol
The Museum is great however trying to arrange the cruise is difficult. You cannot get cruise tickets from all pick up points. You have to walk some distance to get them.
Very confusing directions on how to get tickets. We were unable to do canal cruise because we could not determine how to get tickets
Easy and helpful self guided app Bring your simple sandwich and bottle water instead of eating inside to avoid long line up for cafe. You can eat in the entrance hall.
Great way to ensure entry to the Rijksmuseum, and the museum was beautiful. The canal cruise was an open boat in the sunshine with company Lovers, and it was very good as well. Easy to hear commentary and comfortable cruise.
Canal cruise was great and the skipper was fun The Rijksmuseum was confusing, I though we had an audio tour but wasn’t able to figure out how to get it. Was OK without anyways.
Make sure to give enough time for the museum try to book your audio with the booking as it run out on the day
Everything was ok, the audio guide is not for the museum only for the canal cruise. Easy to reach the boat in front of the museum
Very interesting museum. We didn’t want the audio tour and just went at our own pace. We were there a little over 2 hours. We chose not to do the canal tour because we were tired.
The museum can be a little overwhelming but once you get use to the layout it’s a great experience!!
