Itinerary
Rosie Connolly's Pub is housed in a historic structure that had housed the Railroad YMCA and is situated in what was formerly known as the "red light district" of the city. Try a drink and be aware that it may have been poured with the assistance of additional ghostly hands.
The fact that so many businesses have failed after moving into Richmond's oldest commercial building has prompted some to think that it is cursed. Learn about Daniel Denoon, who is rumored to haunt the structure. Smith and Foundry, located in the building, offers African wines for tasting.
This structure, one of the world's oldest Masonic lodges still in operation, used as a hospital during the War of 1812. Even doubters have been persuaded by the paranormal activity in this building.
The Edgar Allan Poe Museum, which honors the author's time in Richmond and is located close to his house and place of employment, is housed in the city's oldest standing structure. Poe's ghost has reportedly been seen in numerous locations throughout the house. This could be because of his attachment to some of his personal items.
Discover the background of beer in the US. Try some of the house brew here after the history lesson.
This old church, which was the first one to be built in Richmond, has over the years witnessed numerous catastrophes. Find out more about the four ghosts alleged to prowl the cemetery and church.
Over 300 troops died in this facility, which served as a hospital during the Civil War and was formerly a tobacco store. Find out more about the ghosts that unavoidably remain in this place.
Try the Farmhouse Dry Cider and get a taste of what colonists consumed every day. Simply be aware that it could not just be the booze if you notice anything out of the corner of your eye.

Canceled 90 minutes before our tour started. When I tried to request a refund they were super rude. Use another company!

Mars was a fantastic guide, and gave us a great experience. Very personal and informative, and a lot of fun. The drink stops were great and my wife said two of them were on her bucket list a she was wondering when we’d go. The stories and history provided a great backdrop for each location, and the others in the group were fantastic as well. A great time!
Hello, there! Thank you for your thoughtful feedback! We’re happy Mars helped make your experience so enjoyable and memorable. We’ll pass along your compliments, and we hope you and your wife return soon for more fun, history, and maybe a few more bucket list stops!
Great tour! Abby was the best guide! Super knowledgeable about the history of the city and a great way to see and learn about the city. Highly recommend and would do again next time we’re in Richmond!
Hello, Tim! We’re so glad you had a great time and found Abby to be an excellent guide! Your compliments will be shared with her, and we look forward to welcoming you back.
As a whole the idea was great! Cool town neat stories but sadly not that great. One of the pubs wasn’t even open. The guide was kind but not that interesting. Ending up going to only 1 pub that seemed overwhelmed all 10 of us showed up.
Hello, Mary! Thanks for sharing your honest feedback. We’re glad you liked the concept and the guide’s kindness. We’re sorry about the pub closures and the crowded experience at the last stop. We’ll pass your compliments to the guide and use your input to improve future tours. Hope to welcome you back sometime!
Bob was so knowledgeable and his stories were incredible. He really made Richmond come alive! We also toured with strangers who quickly became friends. It was the best and we HIGHLY recommend it to future groups.
Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful experience! We’re thrilled Bob’s knowledge and storytelling made your tour memorable, and that you made new friends along the way. We’ll be sure to pass your compliments to him. Looking forward to welcoming you back!
Mars is a great tour guide. She is friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Her strength is encouraging the group to share experiences.
Hello, Julie! Thanks for sharing your experience! We’re happy Mars’s friendliness and knowledge encouraged great group interaction. We’ll be sure to pass your kind words along. Looking forward to welcoming you back!
Not at all what I expected. We only stopped at 1 local brewery, and the area itself didn't really have enough content for a "haunted experience ". The guide tried but he wasn't overly enthusiastic. A ton of walking, not many refreshments and not much content. In hindsight, wish we took the $60 and just visited a couple pubs.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry the tour didn’t meet your expectations. We appreciate your comments and will pass your compliments to the guide. We hope to see you again.
We went to one pub. We did not end where we started. One pub on the list was closed. There weren’t ghosts stories. There were “I heard that someone said” stories.
We sincerely apologize that your tour experience didn’t live up to expectations, especially with the closed pub and the stories not meeting your hopes. We understand how important it is to deliver a memorable ghost tour. Please reach out to guestrelations@usghostadventures.com with the name your booking was under, and we will do our best to assist you further. Thank you for sharing your feedback.
