Itinerary
Our first stop takes us to the amazing Berserkjahraun lava fields. These jagged rocks are from an old volcano and look like something from another world. You'll see how powerful volcanoes are in Iceland.
Next, we'll visit the famous Mt. Kirkjufell, Iceland's most photographed mountain! You'll see its unique shape and the beautiful Kirkjufellsfoss waterfalls right in front of it. It's a perfect spot for taking pictures.
We'll drive around the stunning Snæfellsjökull National Park, a protected wilderness area surrounding the majestic Snæfellsjökull glacier. On a clear day, you can even see this glacier from Reykjavik! Enjoy the breathtaking scenery as we journey through this remarkable national park.
Get ready for the stunning Djúpalónssandur black sand beach. You'll walk along the black pebbles and see pieces of old shipwrecks scattered on the sand. There are also some old lifting stones here – a fun challenge if you're feeling strong!
We'll see the impressive Lóndrangar basalt cliffs, two huge rock formations rising from the sea. They are all that's left of an old volcano and are home to many birds, offering amazing coastal views.
We'll visit the charming village of Arnarstapi, a picturesque place with mountains behind it and cliffs by the sea. It used to be a busy fishing village, and you can still feel its history. Enjoy a walk along the cliffs and maybe spot some seabirds. The Arnarstapi bridge is a famous photo spot.
We'll make a stop at the beautiful Búðir Black Church. This striking wooden church stands alone in a vast lava field, creating a wonderful contrast in the landscape – a perfect photo opportunity!
Our final stop on the peninsula is Ytri Tunga Beach. This golden sand beach is a great place to see seals! Keep an eye out for these playful creatures basking on the rocks near the shore.

Very good but not enough time at the sites visited. The driver was a very nice and helpful guy. Very punctual
Thank you for your 5‑star review! We’re delighted you had a very good experience and appreciated the driver’s punctuality, kindness, and helpfulness. We note your comment about wanting more time at the stops and will keep this in mind as we review our schedules. Your feedback is valuable, and we’re glad the day was enjoyable overall
The operator in Iceland was Nordur Travel. The tour booked was in Spanish, but Nordur informed me that it would be a bilingual Spanish-English guide. The Snaefellness peninsula is spectacular and with far fewer people than the Golden Circle or the South Coast. The guide Ioannis, who is Greek, spoke perfect Spanish and made it very enjoyable. We returned delighted
Thank you for your kind feedback! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your tour. We’re happy to know that Ioannis made the tour enjoyable with his knowledge and excellent Spanish. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with him. Thank you for choosing Nordur Travel, and we hope to welcome you back!

Incredible experience guided by Briosh and his partner Ganesh making us feel each stop a unique experience and also each better than the last. Long journey for an unforgettable, if not the best, journey in Iceland. Thank you.
Great experience!!! Our guide Briosh, native Spanish, professional, nice making us feel safe and information continued during 12 h, from 10!!!!!
The guide, Briosh, is great. Lightly person that transmits he is is love with these powerful landscapes, and at the same time very rigorous with the timetable. The trip, which is a big one is fluid. we did it yesterday and I think that no trip is going to surprise us, after this wonderful experience. Top trip, top Briosh (Sergio, the guide).
The places visited on the tour are extraordinary, both with sun or clouds are recommended. Sergio, attentive, involved, knowing so much of the environment and history of the place make the route even more exciting. Recommended if and if.
