Amazing experience, brilliant staff, high quality equipment … Our driver Diago was excellent , he spoke amazing English and looked after us really well. We had a different guide on our raft who was called Marco he was a lot of fun! I would highly recommend this company, they took safety seriously while making sure you had a lot of fun!
The guides were excellent and made us very safe
Absolutely fantastic session as first time white water rafters. Really professional organisation with lots of information. Safety was paramount. Out from our La Fortuna hotel 10-3pm We felt safe - our guides gave us clear instruction on what to do. There was a man in a safety kayak and a man in a kayak taking photos. In high season we were part of 16 boats that went out in our session. Each boat had its own experienced guide steering and controlllng us with clean direction - we had Gustavo who actually picked us up from the hotel and was our guide on the water (with 24 years experience). Lots of wildlife was spotted, the kids were able to jump in and swim for a short time which they loved we stopped for loads of tropical fruit which the 16 instructors cut up on the back of a boat at a pit stop part way down our 8mile route! It was a really super experience. Then quick lunch stop on the way back at a local restaurant before heading back.
We went rafting with our guide Yuud He made the adventure so much fun!! Enjoyed every second and didn’t want it to end. Felt in safe hands but the excitement was still there. He pointed out all the wildlife and cut our pineapple to perfection. Gracias would highly recommend xxx
Amazing Day! Review of Rafting Class II & III + Local Farm Lunch & Cultural Tour Reviewed yesterday Fantastic white water rafting experience! Transportation to and from our hotel and the river was comfortable and on time. Our large family was split into two rafts, which worked out perfectly. Our guides, Carlos and Marco, were expert, knowledgeable, and made us feel safe while still giving us an exciting, challenging adventure. The included lunch was delicious and a great way to wrap up the day. Huge bonus that Jairo took several fantastic action photos during our adventure. Highly recommend this amazing, and fun trip!
We were all rafting for the first time. Our guide Enzo was a very good instructor. His knowledge and expertise kept us safe and allowed us to have a great time. We were all thrilled with our rafting experience! He also had lots of interesting information to share about Costa Rica. Lunch was yummy and in a beautiful location. Overall, it was a fabulous experience!
A great day with a great team from Wave! Special mention for our rafting guide Argenis, driver Jonny and guide Esteban! Really recommend this tour - really friendly - everything was excellent and really well organised!
The whole rafting experience was so incredibly fun! Our guide Carlos was amazing and made sure we had the best (and safest) time. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions on the drive over and throughout the rafting. This was our first time ever rafting and we would 1000% do it again, especially with this company. The lunch afterwards was also delicious and the whole day just ran very smoothly. We paid for the photos at the end and they were definitely worth it.
We had a wonderful time! The Class II and III rapids were exciting without being terrifying. Our guide for the day, Jairo, was professional, kind, and fun. He gave us a lot of information and ensured we were having a good time. Felix was an excellent driver and got us everywhere safely and efficiently. Once on the river, our river guide, Alonso, was amazing. We had both experienced and inexperienced rafters in our boat and Alonso was great with both. He kept us safe while having an amazing adventure. After the rafting, we went for a delicious lunch and learned about coffee and sugar cane. It was a lovely way to complete the tour. Highly recommend.
So much fun. The guides were great making sure we were safe and had a blast. Lunch was the best meal I had in La Fortuna. Encouraged to walk La fortuna upon our return and we enjoyed chocolate and a gelato. Wonderful way to spend the day.
