Get on board with the professional guides to enjoy all the adventure of the class III ‘Shoshone Rapids,’ then slow it down and soak in the scenery of stunning Glenwood Springs Canyon as you play and paddle your way through class I-II whitewater. The river level is low, but nonetheless it was an enjoyable trip. Nolan, our guide, knew the area well and gave us lots of interesting information. Very personable group of outfitters.
We had a nice experience. Our guide Maury was entertaining and got the 8 of us (3 separate groups) talking during the slow drifting part of the trip. Would recommend, especially during the very hot days we have been experiencing in Glenwood Springs
Our family loved it and our 5 kids ages 6-12 want to do it again. Our guide Rachel is great with kids! One of our kids has multiple disabilities and is in a wheelchair. They went above and beyond to accommodate him. Was much appreciated. Highly recommend this company and its friendly staff.
Blue Sky Adventures did not disappoint! We took our family (2ad/2ch 14 & 11) on the half day tour and had Mud Flap as our guide. He came with many many years of experience and you could tell he genuinely LOVES his job and the company he works for. He was funny, quick witted and made everyone on the boat feel welcome. I'm so glad we booked with Blue Sky. Locally owned and operated. It was conveniently located walking distance from our hotel (Best Western) in Glenwood. Good times and can't wait to come back and do it again!
Best time EVER! Rocky was a fun river guide. She made sure we hit the rapids just right so we all got wet! It was a great adventure. The company ensured our safety with good directions, safety vests and helmets.
It was a great experience, they called the night before to confirm and ask if I had any questions. When we arrived they gave you all the info and provide life jackets and helmets. You do need shoes with backs on them or you can rent shoes from them. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great experience with Nick.
We had a group of 17 family members with ages ranging from 62 to 5 years old. We split into two boats and had a couple of exceptional guides with Mudflap and Jack. This is the fifth time we’ve booked with Blue Sky and have had a blast every time. Don’t miss this adventure!

I highly recommend this adventure when visiting Glenwood Springs. From start to finish a top notch experience. The equipment provided, the experienced guides, and the FUN! Four of us ranging from 10 years old to 68 years old. The most fun this 68 year old has had in a long time. Can't wait to go again. My granddaughters were a bit scared at the beginning, but loved every minute. The older one (11 yo) ended up jumping in at one point (never would have believed she would do this) but that's how comfortable they made us feel. Thanks for the experience Blue Sky and Hayden for being a great guide.
