Itinerary
Meeting point is at the Villa de Leyva Transport Terminal. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the tour, so we can depart on time. You can recognize your guide by the No Hay Vida Mejor outfit. You will travel by private car for about 30m minutes.
We'll begin our tour through the town's streets, where our guide will share the history of Ráquira. Along the way, you'll also visit souvenir shops where you can purchase beautiful handmade clay crafts.
This is place is located in Pueblito de Barro one of the municipality's most striking and interesting attractions. In this theme and craft park, you'll discover the beauty of Boyacá. This place is a tourist lookout located in Ráquira, created as a tribute to the clay craftsmanship for which this region is world-renowned. In this beautiful viewpoint, you'll find sculptures of various sizes, made or decorated in clay or mud. Each figure tells the story of everyday life surrounding the artisan culture. This blend of tradition and recreation that we offer our visitors is an opportunity to experience the creativity of Boyacá artisans and relax amidst spectacular natural scenery. Visitors can enjoy a variety of fun attractions, including swings, a big slide and other activities. Some experiences are available for an additional cost.
Our tour includes a visit to one of Raquira's most renowned restaurants, where you can enjoy a delicious traditional dish.
You will go back by car for about 30 minutes, and arrive at the Bus Station of Villa de Leyva.

We had an amazing tour of Ráquira with Liliana and Joaquín, honestly couldn’t have asked for better guides. Liliana is incredibly knowledgeable about Boyacá, its history, culture, and traditions, and she explained everything in a way that was super engaging and easy to follow. Ráquira itself is an absolutely beautiful town, colourful , vibrant, full of art and character, and it is 100% not worth skipping. Walking through it with someone who really knows the place made such a difference and helped us appreciate it on a much deeper level. Liliana also took so many great photos for us (huge bonus), and Joaquín was wonderful as well, warm, welcoming, and added so much to the experience. The lunch was delicious, and everything felt well paced. Highly, highly recommend this tour if you’re visiting Ráquira or anywhere in Boyacá. Absolute must-do!!
