It was an absolutely fantastic experience. Boasting some of DRs most beautiful views and spectacular activities. Although it's a full day it's worth it. The food is great and so was the service. Carlos our guide, Jimmy the driver as well as our photographer went out of their way to make the trip extra special. A must try.

This was a long day but worth it. Susie was the absolute BEST guide! She handled the French & English speakers and was amazing. The photographer was also great and so reasonably priced. Montana redonda had spectacular views, the swings (so cool), hammocks, look out tower, and more! The ride up the mountain was an adventure! The ranch & waterfall were even better. The fresh cacao & coconut bread, authentic lunch, waterfall, & clay mud mask are just a few of the highlights of this stop. Such a great look at the real Dominican culture and cooking. Last stop was the national park boat ride and cave exploring- boat were awesome. Beautiful views, lots of birds, cave drawings, and more. It was a lot of driving but Susie provided a ton of really cool information along the way. The whole day felt very relaxed and nothing was rushed. We also didn't feel like any of the three spots were busy or heavily populated with other tours/visitors. Highly recommend if you are looking for a full day excursion, you like nature/adventure, and you want to see the non resort side of the DR!
This was a wonderful excursion across eastern Dominican Republic. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history, geography, and the terrain. Yanigua was great, but I recommend bringing water shoes. I'm a bird watcher, and was able to see birds at Montaña Redonda, Yanigua, and Haitises National Park. The boat ride through the mangroves, around bird Island, and to the limestone cave was great.
Top-notch and very responsive organization. The 3 spots are interesting. Be careful, some roads are quite bumpy. Thanks to Carlos and the team.
Fantastic tour, had a blast the entire day. Our guide Joel was great, very informative on the history and facts about the Dominican Republic during the drive to the different locations. The most magical part of the whole thing was Los Haitises national park, seeing the birds flying over the islands was something else! Wouldn't hesitate to do it again, truly made my trip.
Excellent excursion! We absolutely loved each stop - VERY long day, but worth it! The DR lunch at the waterfall was exceptional. Was able to see many areas of the DR along the ride - Highly recommend!
From the start, everything was perfectly organized. A person came to greet us directly at the hotel lobby to check our tickets and put us at ease. Our first stop was Montaña Redonda. The trip is quite bumpy with a lot of shaking, so I do not recommend it to pregnant women or people sensitive to difficult roads. On the other hand, if you like adventure, the reward is worth it: the panoramic view is absolutely magnificent! We had plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and take very beautiful photos. A professional photographer was present. The photos he took were superb. It is an entirely optional service, with no pressure to buy. We then discovered Los Haitises National Park. The boat ride through the mangroves is magnificent. The caves are interesting, especially if you like this type of visit, and the openings overlooking the landscape offer very beautiful viewpoints. The Yanigua waterfall was another highlight of the day. We were able to swim, enjoy very pleasant water, and climb up to Tarzan's little house, accessible by ladders in a large tree, with the help of a guide. An original and very fun activity. I also loved the part dedicated to Dominican traditions: tasting mamajuana, discovering cocoa and chocolate, explanations on their production, and even a demonstration of how to prepare a spread. It was very authentic and enriching. The lunch was varied, fresh, and delicious. Being a vegetarian, I was able to eat without difficulty, which is quite rare during excursions. I also really appreciated that the organizer contacted us before the excursion to find out about any dietary restrictions we might have. A huge thank you to our guide Carlos, who contributed greatly to making this day unforgettable. He speaks Spanish, English, and French, shares Dominican culture with passion, provides numerous explanations throughout the trip, and creates an excellent atmosphere thanks to his humor and kindness. Despite a busy day, we were never bored. Thanks also to our driver Jimmy, who was always smiling, attentive, and took great care of the participants. We had a little rain at Los Haitises, but Carlos handed out ponchos to us, which allowed us to continue the tour without any problem. Yes, the day is long, but it is so rich in discoveries that you don't see the time passing. For me, it is one of the best excursions to discover another side of the Dominican Republic. Thanks again to Carlos and Jimmy for their professionalism and kindness. I give 5 stars without the slightest hesitation!
This was our favorite experience! It was a long day but so many fantastic adventures. Carlos and Jimmy took great care of us, and are the best tour guides and both so kind. 10 star if it was an option! Also only a small group of us so it didn’t feel like a busy tourist activity.
10 out of 10, must do! It’s a LONG day and a lot of ‘bumpy’ driving towards the last stop but I am SO glad we did this. Beautiful sites, our favorite part was the lunch in the most amazing spot and the best meal we had the whole trip. (Maybe pack extra snacks bc it was a late lunch). The guides were great, just wish we would’ve known there was a drop off meeting spot so that was confusing but it was well coordinated.
The whole tour was well organized, the transportation was comfortable, and everything ran on time. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. It was a full day, but definitely worth it. If you want to see more than just the beaches of Punta Cana, I highly recommend this tour. Thank you
