Description
This 1.5-2 hour guided tour takes place on the private property that overlooks the Hule’ia watershed and Ha’upu Mountain range and has two private secret waterfalls. A quick quarter mile (one way) hike is a great opportunity to visit two secluded private waterfalls in the Lihue area. The 30’ Bamboo Falls is a great spot for pictures, and the 60’ Papakolea Falls offers the exciting opportunity to swim in, and climb behind a cascading waterfall!

I am actually scared of heights, but the guides made me feel so safe and secure, and it was way easier to navigate than I thought it would be. I was able to really enjoy the experience knowing I was in capable hands. So beautiful! Would absolutely do this again.
Beautiful falls and fairly easy hike. Refreshingly cool water was invigorating and my happy place. Our tour guide was so nice and insightful. Perfect for a family outing.

Was a great trip...beautiful water falls and great guide. Bring bug spray and shoes you don't mind getting dirty or rent their water shoes. Great swim in the falls.
The hike is downhill and a little slippery in spots, definitely take your time, it is well worth it when you get to the falls! The guide was knowledgeable and entertaining! Well worth the money!
An amazing experience that should not be missed. Kate our guide gave us all of the info on plant and animal life along the path to the falls. She then took pictures if anyone wanted. The falls were very refreshing to play under and walk behind. Overall a great experience.
Not to physically strenuous, and totally worth it. Make sure you rent the shoes, there is rocks so the regular water shoes hurt your feet.
Kate was amazing and patient. Even though we started off late, she took the time to explain everything and allow everyone to have a wonderful experience. Although the hike is short, it is slippery and muddy so wear good shoes. The water is refreshing and the falls are beautiful. We highly recommend this adventure. It was a bit challenging to find the location because of construction and it is off the beaten path. Know that the dirt road into the parking area is only 1 vehicle wide and can be bumpy in some spots.
The views are stunning, the water feels perfect, the hike is short and sweet but the elevation is steep so keep that in mind. Our instructor, Kate, was fantastic! Very knowledgeable, patient, and safe! She took great care of our group making it a memorable excursion!
Your shoes will get muddy, but it’s worth it! Lots of interesting vegetation and the waterfall massage is amazing.
