We booked this experience as the flights from Capadoccia to Antalya were at inconvenient times for our return to the UK and the opportunity to see some of the country and expose our son to some culture was too good to pass up. We were a little apprehensive as an earlier airport transit was terrifying but our first driver Fatih was early and the van was a late model VW with good aircon and comfortable seats. Could have done with a charging point somewhere but that's quibbling. Fatih's driving was uneventful and he was happy to stop for comfort breaks as and when they were needed. The first stop at the Suntanhani Caravanserai was fascinating and thoroughly worth the stop. Hard to believe it's nearly 800 years old. We then travelled on to Konya where we met Hayri for our guided tour of the Mevlana Museum. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the job was second to none. He speaks excellent English and really brought the place alive for us. It was very busy and hot but the exhibits were interesting and gave a real insight into the lived experience of the dervishes. We were then taken to a local restaurant where Hayri made local dish recommendations for lunch before leaving us to eat. The meal was excellent and a refreshingly modest price given some of our experiences in Capadoccia! We then met with Halil for the second half of the journey to Antalya. Again he drove considerately and we stopped for rest breaks as and when. The views as we came off the central plain, through the mountains and down to the coast were breathtaking and really highlighted the value to driving rather than flying. Unfortunately, as we came to the home stretch, we were involved in a five vehicle pile up with a coach, two minibuses, a truck and an old Renault. We were fine but the occupants of the Renault had to be cut out of their car and rushed to hospital. We subsequently heard from Fatih that they were discharged and fine which was great news. No blame can be attributed to Halil as we were already stationary when we got hit from behind and I hope they can get the minibus back up and running asap. Our main takeaway from this last element was how Halil made sure we were ok, ensured we were safely off the road and then, Fatih somehow arranged transport on to the airport. Unknown to them, the police ushered us and our luggage onto a passing coach to take us but the thought to arrange this was truly appreciated. Overall, quite the experience but I couldn't recommend them higher. An amazing trip that we will always remember and way better than spending 12 hours at Antalya airport!
Communication was excellent. We knew who the driver was going to be and what van he would be driving ahead of time. We were picked up right on-time and were well taken care of from start to finish. Loved the service and the fact that I was able to add stops along the way before our final destination.
We chose to go with this transfer option after our trip in the Cappadocia region and going back to Antalya and this was the right decision. It’s very flexible as you can customize your pickup/dropoff time and location (but obviously it has to be reasonable and realistic) and Mete was very good in communication and answering any questions that you may have. I had to adjust the pickup time the day before as our hotel was offering breakfast at a rather later time and Mete was able to accommodate. The drivers themselves were very professional and on time, and also went out of their way to offer some advice. The tour guide we had in Konya was Hayri and he was very knowledgeable and provided our family with a lot of information about the culture. The included lunch at the local restaurant was delicious. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour/transfer to anyone who is looking for a comfortable/flexible way of travelling between Antalya and Cappadocia.
Well experienced drivers, tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable, even gave us some losenges as we had a bit of a cough during the trip.Comfortable van, spacious and clean. We had lunch in one of the local restaurant. Highly recommended.
Great alternative to flying from Cappadocia to Antalya. It’s a long drive and the van is comfortable. Tour at Konya w lunch were great.
Our transfer from Cappadocia to Antalya via Konya was extremely well done. From booking to ease of communication with the tour operator it couldn't have been more seamless. Mete from Selene Travel Communicated with us before, during and after the trip. Mehmet our driver was very efficient too. Our transfer included a stop at the Sultanhani Caravansarai museum, Konya lunch and Melvina Rumi museum tour. I highly recommend Selene Travel

Highly recommended! This was such a nice way to travel. Mete and Hayri were amazing! They really know their history. They both went above and beyond . I’d definitely use them again if I’m back in Turkey!
The private transfer from Cappadocia to Antalya was absolutely flawless! It’s far superior to flying, as the journey itself becomes part of the experience. Along the way, our friendly guide shared fascinating insights about the Silk Road, we stopped at Turkey’s largest Caravanserai, and visited the Tomb of Rumi. After a delicious lunch, we continued on to Antalya. The entire trip was incredibly memorable, with excellent guides making every moment enjoyable. The trip will fly by!
