Passengers will be picked up from their hotel and taken to the Basilica Church, which is where our tour begins.
Our guide will give a general explanation from outside the church, then if passengers wish, they will be able to enter the towers. The Basilica of the National Vow is a neo-Gothic religious building in the historic center of Quito. Due to its dimensions and style, it was considered the largest neo-Gothic temple in America, in addition to being the tallest religious temple in Latin America until 2017. It is located in the area known as Santa Prisca, on Carchi and Venezuela streets, next to the convent. of the Oblate fathers.
Passengers will be transferred from the Basilica Church to Independence Square.
Plaza Grande is the main square of the capital, the political and historical center of Ecuador, and the symbolic seat of the president of Ecuador. It is the reference point for the height of the city, located at 2818 m above sea level. n. m. Its main feature is the Independence Monument, dedicated to the heroes of independence on August 10, 1809, a date remembered as the First Cry of Spanish-American Independence, which stands in the center.
Our guide will give you a general explanation from outside the church and if passengers wish, they will be able to enter and a local guide will give them more details. The Company is one of the largest tourist attractions in the city and an invaluable heritage, both artistic and economic, for the country due to its rich architecture and internal ornamentation, completely covered with gold sheets.
We will visit the Plaza de San Francisco, this is the largest square in the historic center of Quito, it is dominated by the imposing façade of the Church and Convent of San Francisco, from which it takes its name, settling in one of the most representative urban settings. of the city since colonial times, when its central source supplied water to residents for centuries.
Our Guide will recommend a typical restaurant in the Historic Center of Quito where you can have time for lunch. (NOT INCLUDED).
Passengers will be transferred from the Historic Center of Quito to Panecillo.
We will visit Panecillo, a natural elevation of 3,000 meters above sea level. Due to its location, it has become the most important natural viewpoint of the city, from which you can appreciate the urban layout of the Ecuadorian capital, from its historic center and towards the northern and southern ends. The Panecillo is crowned by a giant aluminum sculpture of the "Virgin of Quito", created by the Spanish Agustín de la Herrán Matorras, which was based on the work composed by Bernardo de Legarda, one of the most important representatives of the School Quito
Passengers will be transported from Panecillo to the Sitio Intiñan Museum, in the middle of the world.
The Intiñan Site Museum has an interactive tour for you, where you will learn from the history of our ancestral peoples to the magnificent effects that the sun produces in our solar cylinder. Travel to the past through the centuries-old huts, discover and understand the physical phenomena of the earth with our didactic examples, observe the path of the sun (Intiñan) in the Acoratene, and of course enjoy a natural and privileged environment.
Passengers will be transferred from the Sitio Intiñan Museum to their hotel. End of our services.

Franklin curated a full day trip for 14 of us to enjoy Quito in a day. Even though I organised this day a full 10 months ahead, he took it seriously. He took the trouble to understand my interests and inform me of the nature of the sites and estimate of time required. As requested he provided a very detailed itinerary of sites, times, with flexibility of pre paid & optional entry costs. He included a tasting of local food and drink taking dietary needs into consideration, which was enjoyed by all. He gave us a very interesting synopsis of Ecuador and Quito in particular for the full 45 minutes it took us to reach Mitad del Mundo which was informative & enjoyable. Excellent customer service & efficiency in planning and execution on the day in a comfortable vehicle. His knowledge and historical anecdotes added interest. Frank was recommended to us as a professional guide who could show us around Quito. We contacted him at short notice and he agreed to take us out the following day. He did not disappoint as we spent a wonderful day with him! Frank is a professional guide, who is welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and passionate. His command of English put me to shame! Our experience started with airport transfers from Quito airport to The JW Marriott in Quito. Pleasant and lots of information about the city and surrounding area along the way with Wilson. Then next day Franklin shared his passion for Quito with us. His knowledge and passion showed through at each new site and all along the way. We did the 2 day Otovalo experience with an overnight stay in a beautiful historic Hacienda Pinsaqui. Franklin was an amazing guide. He was prompt, informative, knowledgeable and the activities planned were thoughtful and we got to experience some of the real Ecuador. Even when the weather changed and we couldn’t do one of the planned trips, Franklin detoured and we visited the ancient Pyramids at Cochasqui. An amazing historic site. So, If you want authentic, passionate travel in Ecuador then Four Worlds is the way to go.

We spent a day in Quito before a trip to Galapagos, and used Franklin and Four Winds as our airport transportation and tour guide in Quito. We had a phenomenal and interesting day with him. Franklin greeted us with a smile, his English is excellent, and he was so friendly and shared so much about his beautiful country with us. We spent a day in Quito at Mitad del Mundo (equator) and Old Town Quito, a UNESCO world heritage site.
