Private Tour Architecture of Luis Barragán and Casa Pedregal

Description
*LUNCH NOT INCLUDED AND OPTIONAL* Lunch is optional and paid for by the visitor. Explore Luis Barragán’s work on a tour that combines art, architecture and spirituality. The experience begins in the Capuchin Chapel (not photos), in Tlalpan, a jewel of serenity and light where each space reflects the deep connection between faith and design. The tour is guided by one of the sisters of the convent, which allows to live the visit from an authentic and close perspective. Then, continue to the Casa Pedregal, one of Barragán’s most emblematic works, where geometry, color and integration with nature create a unique atmosphere of balance and contemplation. To close the experience, you will have the option of enjoying lunch at Casa Tetetlán, a contemporary space that dialogues with Barragán architecture. Its culinary proposal celebrates local ingredients and modern Mexican cuisine in an environment of design and calm.

We had an amazing experience! The spaces of course were beautiful, but our guide, Eduardo, was fantastic. Flexible to our needs, accommodating to requests, informative and kind. Would highly recommend him!
I’ve been to Mexico City several times, but this tour showed me a completely different side of it. It’s more introspective and artistic compared to other experiences. Definitely one of the most unique things I’ve done here.
I’ve done many tours around the world, and this one stands out. It’s not just about seeing places, it’s about feeling them. The atmosphere, the silence, and the design all come together to create something very memorable.
I loved that this tour combines architecture with a cultural stop at Casa Tetetlán. After exploring Casa Pedregal, sitting down for Oaxacan food in such a beautiful setting was the perfect complement. It made the experience feel more complete and immersive.
I did this tour on my own and felt completely comfortable the entire time. The guide was attentive and made sure everyone was included. It was a great mix of learning, reflection, and enjoying beautiful spaces.
This is not your typical tourist tour, and that’s exactly why I loved it. These places feel hidden and exclusive. You get access to spaces that most people wouldn’t even know how to visit. It felt very unique and special.
As someone studying architecture, this was an invaluable experience. Seeing Barragán’s work in person is completely different from studying it in books. The transitions between spaces, the silence, and the materials were all incredibly impactful.
One of the easiest tours I’ve ever taken. Being picked up and dropped off wherever I wanted made a huge difference. I didn’t have to worry about logistics at all, just enjoy the experience. Everything ran smoothly and on time
I appreciated how this tour invites you to slow down and really experience each space. It’s not rushed or overly commercial. Walking through the Capuchinas Chapel was almost meditative, and Casa Tetetlán was a perfect place to relax afterward. A very thoughtful and well-paced experience.
This tour felt incredibly exclusive from start to finish. You can really tell how difficult it is to access these spaces, which makes the experience even more special. Everything was seamlessly organized, from hotel pickup to drop-off. Casa Pedregal and the peaceful atmosphere of Capuchinas made it unforgettable.
