This tour is very interesting and exciting. It takes you along a scenic portion of the river. Your Raft Captain does not only pilot the raft but he is a performer in his own rights. He displays and teaches the latest reggae dance moves. He is very knowledgeable about the many trees and shrubs along the river banks. He explains their local medicinal, domestic and industrial usages. The local Fisher folks provide fresh catch to the restaurants and passersby. The clarity of the river is generally very good so you get to see different types of fishes and elusive indigenous birds along the banks. This tour gives you a chance to relax, unwind and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature while getting a feel of the " Island Life". You can also get a soothing therapeutic limestone leg massage if you desire.

Pickup Locations & Times
We will be in the vicinity of the meeting point by the Island Village Main Entrance, where the Turtle Beach Road intersect the Ocho Rios Main Street by the Harbour Shop. At times we will be assisting with the holding up of the sign board. As soon as a traveler recognize the sign board, they come to us and we take them aside to a designated holding area a few feet away. I will either be by the holding area or by the sign. I will also have proper identification suspending around my neck and wearing white top and dark coloured bottom.

Sometimes when you visit a place for the first time, there is uncertainty concerning what to do and how to go about doing things. VPSC Island Drive Tours took that away completely. The packages were nicely laid out on their site, Mr Devon picked me up at the hotel, set me up with Mr Scratchy, the rafter (who himself is an excellent guide) and when it was all over took me back to the hotel. And for the price - it was very reasonable, affordable. But, what stood out the most was the hospitality, warmth and just the good vibes, as we say in Jamaica of Devon and Mr Scratchy. I felt welcomed and appreciated in their beautiful town of Ocho Rios.
Awesome Bamboo Rafting Experience From start to finish, Devon from Island Tours kept us informed, picked us on time st our hotel, and was very welcoming. To top it off, the Bamboo Rafters were top notch! funny, respectful and played that nice reggae music. It was all amazing. and highly recommended.
Ray was an amazing tour guide. My family and I throughly enjoyed blue hole and bamboo rafting. He was accommodating, friendly and overall made our experience amazing. I would highly recommend using Omar Tours Jamaica for all your excursions. I will definitely be using them again when I return.
It was fun, but not for that price. We didn't get a massage or a red strip, as stated in the review. You could buy one along the river though, which they try to do of course. The driver and captain were very nice and friendly.
The driver was so helpful locating me after getting off my cruise and provided me time to shop. Great experience and felt generally safe. I felt there was knowledge for authentic Jamaican experience. I appreciated no additional fee for the limestone massage. Honestly great experience!
Best experience from pick up to drop off. Our amazing driver & tour guide; Devon gave so much information on the history of Jamaica, his welcoming presence made the journey to & from very good & comfortable. The guys controlling our rafts were lovely & funny. 10/10 experience.

Me and my 9 year old son had an amazing day we were collected from Mystic Ridge resort. We booked bamboo rafting which was at Rio Nuevo River followed by tubing at White River. Our host communicated prior to our trip up to present, respectful and polite. Informative throughout and gave us a really interesting history facts about the island. Shadow our rafter was amazing too, my son loved the tubing which was led by Dwight. Thank you Island Drive Tours, would definitely recommend and use again when we return to Jamaica in the future, thank you again.
