You'll start the shoot here at St Mark's Piazza where you'll meet your photographer. They'll get some photos of your with the Basilica and on to Doge's Palace
The next stop is outside the fascinating Doge's Palace, where your photographer will give you quick explanation as to why this place is so intriguing, plus you'll get a few photos here too.
Now you'll head over to the Lagoon to board your own personal Gondola for a 30 minute trip around the canals of Venice, both big and small! Prepare for amazing photos with an incredible backdrop of Venice from the water! The Gondoliera often sing Italian love songs, so get ready for a trip of a lifetime!
After disembarking your personal gondola, you'll make your way to the grand finale: The Grand Canal & the Rialto Bridge - two of the most famous sights in Venice. Your photographer will guide you around the area, ensuring that you get all the iconic shots from your time in this timeless city!

Somehow, all the stars and planets aligned to bring us to Mary. She was not only our photographer, but also our guide for our engagement ceremony in Venice, Italy. Mary arranged our gondola ride and took care of every detail and everything was absolutely PERFECT! She seemed to know all the important people, which made it possible for us to take pictures in places and ways that others simply couldn’t. They all knew Mary too, and it seemed like they rolled out the red carpet wherever we went! Her enthusiasm, professionalism, and genuine excitement for our special day made the entire experience even more memorable. She spent far more time with us than we ever could have expected and went above and beyond in every way. What a wonderful day and what an incredible experience! Our photo shoot was absolutely amazing. Marínela was timely, communicative and professional. She was easy to communicate with in the days before and during our shoot gave clear directions providing us with inspiration for our photos including framing, poses, lighting. When things went slightly awry she was patient and helpful, ensuring we got everything we wanted; including a proposal surrounded by our family. Could not recommend enough.

We booked the private photoshoot on personal gondola and Dan was assigned to be our photographer. Dan is a great and professional photographer and made our experience absolutely amazing. The gondola took us to beautiful spots in Venice and Dan made the whole session feel relaxed. We look forward for a great set of photos and video of our photoshoot!

We decided to do this instead of the typical gondola ride in Venice which was a huge mistake. The ride doesn’t take you to the best canals and is shortened so they don’t have to pay as much for the gondola ride. The photos in the gondola are terrible and not timed / taken well. Your view gets blocked by the photographer and she won’t take the pictures you want. Really regret booking this experience. Should have just done a normal gondola ride without the photographer in the way. My iPhone photos were better.
A private photo shoot in a private gondola in Venice was booked. The contact was uncomplicated and fast. The shoot was also refreshing. The photographer knew the different spots and the photos turned out great!
Booking this private photography session with Daniel was one of the best decisions we made during our trip to Venice. It wasn't just a photo shoot—it became one of our favorite travel experiences. Daniel has an incredible eye for light, composition, and capturing authentic moments that never felt staged or awkward. My husband and I aren't naturally comfortable in front of the camera, but within minutes Daniel had us completely at ease. The session felt more like an evening stroll through Venice with a knowledgeable local than a formal photo shoot. The weather that evening was brutal—over 95°F with high humidity—and we were absolutely melting. Looking at the finished photos, though, you'd never know it. The editing is exceptional. Somehow the editing team that retouched Daniel's images managed to erase every sign of the heat (including the sweat marks that had soaked through my husband's linen shirt!) while keeping the images looking completely natural. The final gallery is polished without looking over-edited. The only small downside was that receiving the edited photos and video took longer than we originally expected. We were so excited to see the results that the extra wait felt difficult. That said, every time I reached out, the experience provider responded promptly and professionally with updates, and once we received everything, it was obvious why the editing took time. The quality was absolutely worth the wait. These photos have become so much more than vacation pictures—they instantly transport us back to our final evening in Venice. Years from now, they'll bring back memories that a quick selfie never could. If you're considering this experience, don't hesitate. Skip a souvenir you'll probably forget and invest in memories you'll treasure for a lifetime. I couldn't recommend Daniel (check out his Instagram @venice.photo.stories) and this private photo shoot experience more highly.
Mary was really great and professional photographer and we really enjoyed our time with her during this photoshoot. We look forward to a great set of photos of our family in an amazing setting.
Have fun and enjoy yourself. We felt like celebrities, with all the people watching us. The photographer new the area well and took us to areas we would have never seen.
Don’t pay for a photographer, my pictures are mediocre! After activity, you are then asked to pay an additional fee for your other images!! My initial gallery isn’t impressive. I asked the photographer to take more photos of us smiling., a bit more staged to ensure we would have 1 good picture. I was told no, it doesn’t need to look staged, the result, 2 good images! Save your money! This isn’t worth the cost!
