Our Tour guide will meet you at Kusadasi Port or the lobby of Listed hotels with your name sign at pre-arranged time . Pick up time will be given during your confirmation. Kusadasi Cruise Terminal pick up time normally 30 to 45 minutes after your cruise arrival
Our first stop is the House of Virgin Mary. The House of Virgin Mary is located on the Aladag Mountains 5 miles away from Ephesus. At the third Ecumenical Council on 431 AD in Ephesus, it was claimed that Mary came to Ephesus with St. John in 37 A.D. and lived there until her death in 48 A.D. After the discovery of the house, the Archbishop of Izmir declared there as a place of pilgrimage in 1892. On July 26, 1967, Pope Paul VI visited this place and prayed there
Our second stop is Ephesus Ancient City. We will start visiting one of the main highlights in Turkey, Ephesus, one of the 12 cities of Ionian League (an ancient Greek district on the western coast of Asia Minor) is located near Izmir. As a port city it was a major departure point for trade routes into Asia Minor. Walk through history along marble streets lined with wonderful public buildings, among them the Baths of Scholastica, the Library of Celsus; it was built in the beginning of the 2nd century A.D. by Gaius Julius Aquila to be a memorial to his father Gaius Julius Celsus Polemanus, the proconsul of Province of Asia. , the Temple of Hadrian and The Grand Theater are two of the most impressive buildings in Ephesus. Grand theatre was built in 3rd century B.C and it was later expanded to 24.000 spectators by the Romans in the 1st century A.D.
Terrace Houses is included in 2 ( Private with Terrace Houses and with Small group with Terrace Houses ) Options only. Not included in other 2 without Terrace Houses options Terrace Houses is located on skirt of Pion Mountain. There are 6 residential units which were built on three man-made terraces. These houses were settled by wealty citizens of Ephesus. These houses were very fancy decorated with wall frescoes and floor mosaics. There are many steps to ascend from bottom to top. Attention Not recommended for people who has walking difficulties and acro-phobia (fear of heights).
Our last stop is The Temple of Artemis where used to be one of the seven wonders of the ancient world as our last stop before drive back to Kusadasi town center and port

Ceren was wonderful, personable, friendly and knowledgeable. She gave us many suggestions and was very willing to answer all our many questions. She was also happy to take our photos. She took us to a delicious restaurant for lunch, which was able to accommodate a severe allergy. She had great suggestions for shopping, too. We had a great, fun, and educational day with Ceren and would highly recommend her. We were q family with teens and a grandparent.
Had an incredible time!! Much better with a private tour than a big excursion with the cruise ship. Erdean was our guide and did a fabulous job. Highly recommend.

This excursion was PHENOMENAL from the very beginning. Tansu was amazing, kind, and patient!!! As a single mom solo traveling with her family, she made us comfortable from the very first introduction and tailored every detail of our trip to exactly what we wanted and expected. Everyone she introduced us to along the way (carpet makers, leather factory [by request]) were kind and helpful. She not only made us feel safe and returned us to port with plenty of time for more shopping but her knowledge of all the ruins and historic sites was incredible. Her personality was soft and radiating kindness. If you are able to request her, I highly suggest you do so!! Would do this trip 1000x over as Turkey was by far our favorite port stop!!!
Our guide Alex was amazing. He picked us up right on time, showed us all of the historical sights, treated us to an amazing lunch, and helped us shop for some amazing additions to our house. Very informative too. Highly recommend.
