We were in Mumbai for only half a day and initially only wanted a driver to drive us around to malls. but the driver assigned was far more than a driver, he managed to squeeze in many sights as well, making our trip memorable. it was amazing.

Our guide, Aarti, is a gem! Not only did she help us tour and understand major landmarks, but she lives in the neighborhood and was able to help us understand how Mumbaikar of different backgrounds—from very wealthy to very modest—go about daily life. It was helpful to have the driver and van so we could get around comfortably and efficiently, but mostly Aarti led us in walking among people and seeing their activities up-close. In just 1/2 day, we got an amazingly rich introduction to local culture and history.

We had a very nice day with our local guide Mukesh. He showed us all the highlights during our 6h trip.Mukesh is very knowledgeable and gave us detailed explanations about everything as well as a lot about life in India and Mumbai.
