Grace lives with her daughter in the outskirts of Nairobi city and currently works for an NGO that offers business training to women. Sharing cultures and making people feel at home when they are away from their home is what she most enjoys about hosting travelers. Apart from cooking Grace also loves to read and swim. My 8-year old and I had a fantastic time learning from Grace. We loved visiting the market and felt so lucky to be welcomed into her home. She was such a patient teacher and the food was delicious! This is a great home experience and we learned some tasty new recipes. We'd definitely recommend.
The market tour and cooking experience was great. It was lovely to share some time with Grace and Eric, a fellow solo traveler. We cooked Pilau and it turned out delicious! Definitely would re book this experience!
