We had a really great experience on our Ninh Binh tour! We were picked up directly from our hotel in Hanoi, which made everything very convenient from the start. The transportation to Ninh Binh in a small group of people was comfortable and hassle-free. During the tour, we got to see several different sights and take part in a variety of activities, which made for a fun and interesting day. Lunch was also included and was a nice addition to the tour. A special mention to our tour guide, Chris, who was friendly, helpful, and spoke very good English. He was always happy to help and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the day. Overall, it was a really great tour and a fantastic way to experience Ninh Binh. We definitely wouldn’t want to have missed it and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi!

It was quite a hot day, but that didn't affect our experience at all. Our tour guide, Chris, was professional, the driver was excellent, he tells us about the history of Vietnamese people, the origin of Bich Dong Pagoda. During the cycling tour, Chris took us to visit a local farm, where we got to see how they raise ducks, buffalo, and chickens and after that we come back to the restaurant to have lunch. It was a fantastic trip, and Chris suggested we should return to Ninh Binh in October, the best time to visit that the time all the rice fields are fully grown and the water lilies are in full bloom.

What a wonderful tour company to explore Vietnam with! Traveling can be stressful, especially the journey from your hometown to your destination, but booking two Jeep tours with Ms. Linh completely set our minds at ease. Ms. Linh was an absolute pleasure to work with: highly responsive to my emails before the trip and instantly communicative on WhatsApp once we arrived. When a late flight threatened to derail our schedule, Ms. Linh and her team stepped in immediately to help us sort it out so our large family of seven could be seamlessly accommodated. The Journey to Ninh Binh The luxury van that picked us up was exceptionally comfortable! Featuring strong air conditioning and luxurious seats, it catered effortlessly to our diverse age group, which ranged from children to elderly parents. Every detail of the drive from Hanoi to Ninh Binh was well thought out, down to the perfectly timed bathroom breaks. The Ninh Binh Tour Experience Our tour guide, Hoang Duc, was with us from hotel pickup to drop-off. He was an amazingly welcoming host, ensuring everyone was comfortable and well-informed at every step of the itinerary (such as advising what to bring for a specific stop versus what to leave behind). Fluent in both English and Vietnamese, he was a huge hit with our elders, who appreciated hearing all the details in their native language. Duc was also a treasure trove of historical knowledge. My teenagers kept him on his toes with plenty of inquisitive follow-up questions, and he answered every single one with fascinating insights into Vietnam's colorful history. Perfect for All Ages Finding an activity that satisfies kids, teenagers, adults, and the elderly all at once is no small feat. That is exactly why I chose this company over others that might have been too physically demanding for our parents. They struck the “perfect balance” of adventure and a relaxed pace, when needed. To top it all off, the food was fantastic, offering a wide selection of delicious items on the menu. Every detail of the day was thoughtfully curated, leaving us with nothing to do except take in the breathtaking scenery and create lasting family memories. The last thing I wanted to call out is if you experience the road in Vietnam - it’s complete chaos (beautiful chaos maybe) - we felt very safe with our driver so another kudos for safe round trip transport. Whether you are traveling in a small or large group, on your first visit to Hanoi or your fifth, I highly recommend this tour company!

If you’re thinking about a private guide in Ninh Binh - book An. We had to switch our tour last minute and he handled it right away, no stress. The whole day just felt easy. He paced everything really well so we got to see a lot without feeling rushed. At Trang An, he gave us great advice on how to make the boat experience more comfortable and efficient for just the two of us, which ended up making a big difference in how smoothly everything went. He knew all the best photo spots and took some of our favorite pictures from the trip. Super knowledgeable too - he shared history about Vietnam and Ninh Binh in a way that was actually interesting. He also took us to a local lunch spot we never would’ve found on our own and it ended up being one of our best meals. Our driver Khánh was just as impressive - navigating busy holiday traffic like it was nothing. He knew exactly how to get us in and out of each stop efficiently, and was always right there when we needed him. Overall just a really smooth, well-run day. Would 100% recommend An and Khánh.

Tony was a good guide, and the Trang An boat ride was beautiful! The entire day was great! Such beautiful landscape and a very packed day full of activities! The only reason I didn't rate 5 stars was because at the end of the journey our guide told me how to calculate my tip for him and the driver. Firstly, I'm generous when I feel it appropriate, but secondly, tips are optional. I already spent quite a bit on the private tour, so this unfortunately left a sour taste in my mouth at the end of the tour.

Our guide, An, was outstanding—both professional and genuinely warm, which made the entire day feel effortless and enjoyable. I really liked the flexibility of the tour. We never felt rushed and were able to spend more time at the places we loved, while moving quickly through others at our own pace. It truly felt tailored to us rather than a fixed itinerary. An was personable and informative. Conversations flowed naturally, and we learned so much without it ever feeling like a lecture.

Our private tour of Ninh Binh was absolutely amazing. Thanh, the coordinator, and Hong, our local guide, were exceptional, flexible, accommodating, and warm. We included airport transfers which made it more seamless. A standout was Hong welcoming us for dinner with his family (we asked to visit his home instead of a restaurant), giving us a genuine local experience. Cycling around town with Hong deepened our connection to the beautiful surroundings. The one-hour Tam Coc river tour was the perfect length. The hike up to the Dragon Temple was also a highlight, with stunning views. We stayed at the Jiva retreat instead of the original recommendation, and it was the perfect pairing, a peaceful retreat that made the entire experience even more special. Ninh Binh’s limestone landscapes, paired with these authentic touches, left us with unforgettable memories. Highly recommended!
