Private Korcula wine tour and tasting

It was a very good day with Jakov, we enjoyed 7 wines from the winery. We started with a bubbly rose and finished with a lighter red. On our way to the black island winery we learned about the island and the grapes variety. Highly recommended this private tour you will not be disappointed

Jakob…was timely, great driver, knowledgeable and hospitable at the winery. Wine was plentiful and delicious, especially its newly gold medal winner made with posip grape.

An excellent tour of the area with a fantastic guide in Jakov! We enjoy the wine so much we had a couple cases of wine sent home! It was the most perfect day exploring and learning about Korcula. I actually have a friend going to Korcula later this year and when I pulled up my trip advisor to share this trip with her and saw I never wrote a review, I knew I had to. That’s how good of a time it was. Would absolutely book again and recommend to anyone visiting Korcula.

One of the best experiences of our trip to Korcula. The wines were amazing and even as a person that prefers red, was very impressed with the quality of the white wines here. We were picked up in old town in a car and enjoyed the scenic drive while the guide (the CEO of Black Island) described the region and the wines. The tour quickly walks you through their small operation and then finishes in the tasting room. The pours were essentially full glasses of wine, cheers!!

My husband and I truly were quickly transported to the beautiful wine country of Korcula by Igor! His personal knowledge of wine making of 17 yrs. and local history made it a very unique experience. The drive thru the back roads away from traffic was filled with information and up close vines and olives on the cusp of harvest! The Black Islsnd Winery was a perfect tasting experience (very cool) of local wines with an exceptional charcuterie board. The experience was perfect from pick up to drop off. You need to bring nothing other than yourselves to enjoy these memorable local wines! Cheers!

The tour was great all around! We were picked up from old town and given a tour of the island and vineyards while being told about the history and wine culture on Korcula. The wine tasting was all arranged and the 5 wines we tasted were delicious as was the cheese board. Igor went above and beyond during and after the tour. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does (and makes delicious wine). Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice afternoon at a lovely winery.

This was such a fun tour. We got to see so much of Korcula and then had amazing wines to taste and time to sit and enjoy them.

This is an incredible experience! We took the foot ferry from Split and had a wonderful breakfast at Pepper and Choco’s in Kôrcula, a restaurant that our guide Jakov recommended. Jakov met us there and drove us to Black Island winery. The drive included beautiful views of the ocean and vineyards and a bit of history of Kôrcula. Then we arrived at our wine tasting. The charcuterie board was composed of all products made or grown in Kôrcula! The wine, scenery, and our guide Jakov were fantastic! Don’t miss this tour!

We really appreciated seeing and learning more about the small villages we traveled through on our way to the winery. Our guide Jacob was very knowledgeable both about the area and the grapes and wines from Korcula. How wonderful to have someone as a guide whose family has lived on Korcula for generations!
