Grateful for our experience

This was a great experience. In addition to viewing two synagogues, we spent a good deal of time at the Holocaust memorial and Maria taught us about the history of Jewish communities in various areas of the country and how they each fared during the Holocaust. Finally, the Jewish Museum was incredible. We were lucky enough to be guided by Anastasia, the curator. She had so much knowledge to share and did it in such an engaging way. A very memorable and worthwhile day.

Private driver for the Jewish museum and synagogues of Athens

This tour was basically having a driver take us to the synagogues and the Jewish museum. We explored on our own and with a synagogue guide. Having a driver was great given that he picked us up at the airport and took us to the places that we wanted to see and then to our hotel.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. I loved going to the Jewish museum and synagogue with a guide so we know what we are looking it. Only positive thoughts about the tour and highly recommend it.

Use different company.

Poor experience. The guide did not provide any information other than what I knew already from guidebooks.

Operator response

Dear Mr and Mrs Selz, We are really sorry that you feel that way about your tour, but please let me clarify some things. You had booked a tour with no guide, and at the morning of the tour when our driver came to pick you up you asked us to find a guide for you and although the weather conditions were very bad, we managed to find a guide to accompany you. You are saying that the guide was not helpful which is not exactly true, since this specific guide is very experienced with the Jewish tours and that is the reason why you were able to visit the synagogue since we had asked you for your passports the day before in order to make the necessary arrangements and you never send them. Both the driver and the guide did their best under hard conditions to accommodate you, and we are sorry that you feel that way.
